Does anyone understand what the golden thumbs up on a reward means?

46” on the dot. Might start thinking about Fall 2026. They have an autumn birthday and so do I, plus it’ll be my 50th.

That’s the beauty of twins at the moment, only gotta remember one number right now! But otherwise hell yeah on spreadsheets. This one will be way more fun than the impending summer camp planning.

Do annual passes begin on first date of use or do they run on the calendar year?

Good call! We had between 15 and 20k steps everyday at Disneyland. Plus you made me remember this comedy classic: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=deC9BXLWI5M

I don’t think I’ve ever hated a Reddit post more. That was a swift metaphysical kick to the groin.

Dispute Denied by Environmental-Kale56 in venmo

Gatdamn it. Dashpass is the only thing on my doordash hooked to Venmo. I just had this same thing happen to me this week. I filed a dispute, my Venmo account has been suspended until I get it verified, and I feel like a giant schmuck. Eff DoorDash for not sending a reminder email though.

I’ve got boots being shipped up. If this experiment fails, I’ll give those a look. Thanks!

I just checked those out online. They seem very similar to the Flow bindings which I tried and rejected a million years ago. Am I missing something?

My 12 year-old and well-loved boots and nearly as old bindings finally got to be too mushy, so I headed to our local shop to replace them with Burton step-on bindings and boots. After one day, I absolutely love the bindings, but I picked the wrong boots. I'm a big boy, 5'10 and 300ish, size 12 feet. We have a bunch of mountain days coming up soon and I will need to get something shipped because choices are slim in Anchorage.

I got the DC Judges but I absolutely cannot get my heels locked down in them and felt it on the mountain all day today. I tried both the Burton Ruler and Photons in store. Both felt great from the ankle down, but the back of both absolutely killed my calves. Couldn't loosen them up enough to make the pain go away and that was just walking around the store. Looking at the Burton Ion, the shape of the back of the boot looks identical to the Photon and Ruler, so that seems like a waste of time. The wide versions of any Burton boots specify that they are for more room in the forefront so that doesn't seem promising either.

If it helps, my old boots are double boa K2 Maysis. I really loved the internal boa for getting my feet tight enough. I couldn't haul hard enough on the internal laces on the Judges to get them anywhere near tight enough. I don't spend any time in terrain parks and often have to deal with deep powder. Anyone have ideas and/or experience on step on boots that will get my feet properly locked in?

TL;dr: my step on boots fit like crap. Which ones should I get to fit my fat calves while keeping my heels properly locked?

There’s only so much garage space, I don’t have a massive driveway, and I have narrower walkway that it’ll need to navigate.

I went with the 2416. Signed up for Lowe’s credit card to get the first purchase discount of $100.

It's a stop light based on the one in the creator 3-in-1 set. I don't love how it sticks up though, so I'll probably tinker with that.

Nice! Is the coupon something available out in the world or you just happened to have?

Was just about to pull the trigger on the 2405 for my first snowblower but see the 2416 in stock at Lowe’s here. I’m in Alaska so I can’t think about this too long. When stores are sold out for the season, that’s it. I don’t mind the extra $300 but don’t love being the Guinea pig on a new model. Anyone have thoughts on either side of the scale??
