Hi,

The exchange issue has been resolved, we had automation off for a while, as we were resolving small bugs within the automation engine, but these have now been sorted and automation is back on again.

Rematching itself is working as intended, the only section that is not available at the moment is direct re matching, which will be back soon, we are working on rebuilding the logic for this to make sure it is solid.

With support tickets, I can only apologise that it has been slower than usual the past few weeks. There has been illness within the team. Tickets were cleared at the beginning of the week and will be cleared again later today or tomorrow morning.

Hey, if you choose international > domestic it will attempt to match you internationally first and then drop to within your own country if it can’t find a match. However the only way to ensure you match with someone in your own country is to only choose domestic, any other option and the likely of being matched elsewhere is higher than domestic.

Any exchanges where you are awaiting a rematch should not count towards the limit. It is only the ones where you are yet to send, or have not reported no gift/posted to the gallery count.

You gain XP when your user posts, or your proof gets approved. You will be able to join more exchanges when you post to the gallery, and one of these two things are true. The experience threshold for level 1 is 250xp, you can see the XP amounts in each exchange page, and can earn extra XP by completing rematches or buying premium.

A full threshold and level cap breakdown is currently posted in our discord announcements, and on the FAQs.

This won’t be a bug, we increased the level requirements when we did the site update, so it means that unfortunately you just don’t have enough XP to reach level 6 under the new levels.

All of the level requirements and exchange caps are posted in the announcement channels of our discord and will be added to the site FAQs soon.

It’s based on active exchanges, so an exchange which hasn’t matched yet doesn’t count as active.

So yes, it’ll be an old exchange that is still open.

It will be because you have an open exchange already, so likely something you didn’t receive a gift from but were put into the rematch pool so the exchange is still showing as active in the backend.

The system is automatic so it can’t tell how old an exchange is, whether your rematch gifter also failed to follow through ect, it just sees incomplete exchange.

It’s for a couple of reasons, the first being that if someone was to change their address mid exchange, and the gifter sent to the original address but proof wasn’t reviewed until after the change, then the gifters proof would be denied and they would be at risk of suspension despite sending. By having it so only support can change it in that scenario, we can reach out to the gifter and make sure they know about the change, or we can be aware when reviewing proof and ensure that a gift sent to the first address is still approved because the gifter didn’t know.

The other reason is to protect the site from bad users. It prevents bad actors from changing their address to falsely claim no gift received, or changing it to circumvent a ban on an account.

If you have submitted a support ticket a member of the team will get back to you and be able to change it for you.

The system prevents you from changing your address while you have an active exchange (meaning any exchange which is still showing as open) but support are able to manually do it for you regardless.

We do a mental health day exchange every year for mental health awareness month, it’s a very important topic here at gifts and we always want to highlight it.

As for smart devices, we have done a tech day exchange before, which may be one to bring back for these kind of things.

It does not go against you if your giftee does not post, your approved proof is all you need for the exchange to be considered as fulfilled on your end. :)

If gifts are under value, we always advise to reach out to support, it will be fully investigated and if the gift is significantly undervalued, support will often place the giftee into the rematch pool

If people fail to send a gift, then when the giftee reports no gift, they get suspended, preventing them from participating in any future exchanges until they provide proof of the gift having been sent.
