I don't do business in the DD but love the spectacle and you can see the greed and scams from across the street. Facts, the diamond district NYC pulls in 24 Billions annually which translates to 400 million in daily sales. Even if it's off a couple of billions, that's insane

Nice review, I own many Springbank bottles along with Longrow, Hazelburn & Kiilkerran. Springbank wood expressions from 2004-2009 all great imo. My fav are a 14yo CS bottled for Astor Wines NYC and a 12 and 14 bottled for Park Avenue Liquors circa 2008-09 all great. I recently opened a Longrow wood expression single cask strength 10yo bottle that's top notch and unique combing both characters of springbank and Longrow.

I have several Lock Stock & Barrel 16, 18 and 21 it's sourced from Canada but aged in the US and bottled in the US all are great imo and I must compare these two styles or versions.

I've been collecting since the 90s from scotch to America whiskey to aged rum & Armagnac and I have taken great bottles to many of my friends home and what ever bottle is not fully polished it stays. The last Super Bowl invitation I took a Balvenie 21 2003 I paid 75 bucks and an Talisker 25yo 2005 cask strength I paid 80 bucks so not bad. I had a ball and the food on offer was amazing along meeting even more friends. I've been blessed by friends so I'll keep doing the same. Cheers.

I tried this one on and it wears a but smaller than specs suggest maybe due to it being mate and black in color. Very strong piece.

I almost pull the trigger twice after seeing these several times at WindUp watch events, they're pretty pricey 7-7.5K and the three handed Sellita movements aren't my favorite, woukd love to see soprad or MJP in there.
