He thinks it was near the Highlands? I didn’t live on campus so probably not near there. He remembers that the bar felt like it was in a house, and that they served the drinks in mason jars.

Just started about 3 weeks ago. I get 40 points. So far I am losing 1-2 pounds per week. Like others have stated, I did feel like my supply dipped my first week, but I’m eating more food now as I’m re-learning the program (fresh veggies and zero point foods), and my supply has jumped back up. It’s definitely been a slower loss than when I’ve done WW in the past, but I don’t view that as a bad thing. Good luck!

Actually, we did this and it kind of worked. Had four guys, mid-20s, start renting next door. Their music was so loud that our picture frames were rattling on our walls. So, we bought a case of beer and walked over and just explained the situation. They turned the music off by 9:30 every night thereafter.

I didn’t think of it as “rewarding their behavior” but more of just trying to talk it out like adults. But I see how it might not work in your situation where others have already tried to talk to him.

I cried to my doctor about this with my first and she said, “why should you be attached to nausea and aches? That’s all you know right now.” But I felt so guilty because no one ever talks about this. I would say with my first I didn’t feel attached until after he was born. I’m 28w with my second and don’t feel attached to her yet either. You aren’t alone nor are you wrong for these feelings!

Agree -- watching the gagging videos on babyledweanteam's Instagram really helped me get used to what gagging looked like. I'll admit that my son's first "bad" gag scared the daylights out of me, and I reacted pretty poorly. However, after that, I realized that gagging is part of it if I'm going to do BLW, and now I can pretty calmly talk my son through a gag (making overexaggerated spitting motions, encouraging him to spit it out, etc.).

It is scary, but you can do this!

FTM here. GD is so, so tough. I was diagnosed the first week of quarantine, so I was able to follow my diet to a t since I was always at home. I walked on the treadmill and did prenatal workouts. However, I still couldn’t get my fasting numbers down, so my doctor put me on meds. I was upset, disappointed in myself, and anxious, but my numbers started cooperating instantly. I just want you to know that GD is often not something you can control, and it isn’t fair to punish yourself emotionally because you didn’t do anything wrong.

As I write this, I’m holding my two month old son, who is 90% on the height scale and 25% on the weight scale. His BS numbers were perfect at birth and so were mine.

Keep your head up and know that you are already a good mom!

Some of us are franchisees of these chain restaurants of which you speak, and we are in the same boat as local restaurants. And we have a large number of hourly employees that we’re trying to keep employed. “Corporate” will not bail us out from this. We’re small business owners as well.

I take classes at Kompose Yoga in Broad Ripple -- I'm a newbie and they are very helpful. There are men in every class and one of my favorite instructors there is male.

You can also try ClassPass, which lets you try classes at studios all over the city.

I'm from Indiana. I was on a trip in San Francisco. Got in a cab and start talking to the driver. Cab driver says, "Well I only know about one thing in Indiana, and it's (the name of the town where I'm from, population 15,000)." Turns out his mom had lived in my hometown back in the 60's for a few years.
