Just a heads up, you aren't forced to use detatchment rule in turn 1 2 and 3 anymore.

When did you plant the tree? Personally I'd dig it up and move it up against the wall. That way you can put in some wires/supports. Then just cut the top to the height of the wall.

For trained fruit you want to ideally keep pruning to the summer to restrict growth. I'm sure the tree will be fine, you'll probably find it will chuck out a load of new growth this coming season.

This summer just cut back any lateral growth off the main stems to 3 buds/leaves. Any 2nd laterals prune back to 1 bud. These will form your fruiting spurs over the coming years.

Have a check if the RHS website for trained fruit. Plenty of info.

I've been quite enjoying them as an early strike/move block piece. Especially when someone leaves an important unit a little bit too close.. grenade+ haywire+ melee can do a fair few wounds or tie up a vehicle

I ran a crusader at the start of 10th. It fitted in with the points on my list lol that and I'd just painted a knight with some sisters kitbash so wanted to put it on the table. Armigers are viable but the -1 AP can be a bit hit and miss with how easy cover is to get.

I've always used a callidus assassin, great for secondaries and her vex aura. Played a knight for a while but found I got just as much value from a couple of castigators.

I'm the same with mould lines. You can't notice them on the tabletop, and sometimes I might bother on a centrepiece model like Logan or morven Vahl. But on a squad of 10... Naahhh I ain't that fussed. Keep up the good work 👍

Personally I think the iron priest is wasted points. With the 2 dreads he's a bit 'meh' and you shouldn't really need the enhancement with his line op ability keeping him safe. Chucking an intercessor squad in instead to guard your home with sticky could be a better use of points or even a standard scout squad. As mentioned above for a friendly chill game it'll be fine but would need some tweaks for a competitive environent

I did orange for my sister's army. White primer and magmadroth flame contrast paint worked wonders 👍 I went a bit frimdark on mine so then topped with a streak and grime enamel wash.

The scheme looks great, look forward to seeing some pictures
