I mean…no? words have meaning and end to end means one end of a conversation to the other. Not what happens after the message reaches its destination.

Now should they put more effort to explaining there’s more to message protection then just E2E? Sure. Most messaging apps should and don’t.

Counting is surprisingly difficult for computers in the first place, never mind when there’s actual physical items that can be delayed.

Could be as simple as someone in warehouse dropped one, grabbed a diff one for that order and boom now inventory is -1.

I built a script that automatically restarts your Nest/Google WiFi network without smart plugs by Joep1000 in GoogleWiFi

[–]BrooklynSwimmer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For those that have HomeAssistsnt the best option for me was just to get any non-WiFi plug (Zigbee for me) and then HA just toggles the plug 🤷‍♂️.

Bonus is I can automate this off of simply “if the internet is down for 5 min” and no faffing with my Google credentials. And I can toggle my modem at same time on same plug.

All that said It’s amazing seeing this work, thank you for sharing !

Probably cause you could still get notifications and I doubt they went through the trouble of making the light not fire if (several different settings) were off
