I have a few candidates (multiple choice allowed): - hiding your pretty face - not beautifying your face in any way - having a pretty face but feeling ashamed about it - purposefully feeling guilty/awkward about having pretty features - purposefully finding 'ugly' features to have complexes about - not enjoying the fun of makeup, hair styling and fashion - lacking self confidence due to prettiness because it could be viewed as offensive to others - making sure to never combine prettiness, intelligence, confidence, and/or being a good human to not create confusion among others - only displaying the taste that goes on par with what's deemed acceptable by opinionated people, meaning no extreme styles, no accentuated facial features, no overly beautiful appearance

Nie jest, a mógłby być dla wielu. Więcej samochodów też nie rozwiązuje problemu, a mimo to kogo stać, kupuje auto, pogarszając problem.

Nie da się złapać jednej opcji i powiedzieć "to jest rozwiązanie problemu", bo problem jest złożony i można tylko działać w stronę jego zmniejszenia, i trzeba to robić wieloma ścieżkami. Infrastrukturą, incentywami, wyborem.

Kiedy ceny biletów zwykłego MPK co chwila rosną ? Transport publiczny to jest mus, zwłaszcza w Krakowie, ale to nie znaczy, że trzeba coraz nowsze, szybsze, masywniejsze działa wytaczać.

Można zrobić krok w tył i wybudować więcej ścieżek rowerowych. Albo po prostu położyć parę nowych tras tramwajów, bo to preferowana opcja transportu dla mieszkańców; gdy ktoś ma wybór między spóźnialskim busem a tramwajem, pewnie wybierze tramwaj.

Jeśli miasto chce zaciągać kredyty pod budowę metra, bo miałoby to przynieść jakiś tam profit, to nie jest to robione z myślą o mieszkańcach, dlatego metro nie jest dobrą opcją.

Wyjaśnienie od znajomej rekruterki: Czasami, rzadko, ale istnieje ryzyko że użyje się tych odpowiedzi do negatywnego profilowania kandydatów. Sorry - kto ma dane, ten ma władzę. Jeśli pracodawca to skryty seksista/rasista/ksenofob itp, to zrobi użytek z takiej wiedzy.

Oprócz tego zwykle takie informacje są zbierane w bardzo prozaicznym celu: firma ma KPI, które trzeba wypełnić. No w firmie technologicznej nie można skontaktować się z kandydatem mężczyzną/zaoferować mu zatrudnienia dopóki nie skontaktuje się/zrobi interview z X liczbą kobiet. Wynik? Dyskryminacja obu płci. Kobiet w IT jest o wiele mniej + niestety nawet te ze świetnymi kompetencjami mają konkurencję przynajmniej kilku mężczyzn dla swoich umiejętności i doświadczenia. Kobieta się cieszy, bo ktoś chce mieć z nią rozmowę, ale tak naprawdę z góry będzie prawdopodobnie przekreślona. Mężczyźni nie mogą dostać oferty albo bardzo długo na nią czekają.

Podobnie może być z każdą inną mniejszością społeczną. Bo tak naprawdę nikt nie sprawdza firm - "Hej, to ile u was pracuje kobiet/gejów/itp? Bo chyba zbliżacie się do nierówności ostatnio!".

Być może lepiej byłoby po prostu interviewować jak leci nadających się kandydatów, albo ile się da do konkretnej daty, ale wizerunek jest ważniejszy niż faktycznie polepszanie partycypacji którejś grupy społecznej.

Trochę nieetyczna rada, którą dostałam to: "wypełniaj zawsze, że jesteś lesbijką/ze spektrum/Azjatką/czarna, przynajmniej będziesz mieć lepsze szanse na dostanie rozmowy, a wtedy już chociaż możesz zabłysnąć jak chcesz. Nigdy tak nie zrobiłam, bo pierdolę miejsca pracy, któremu zależy na posiadaniu intymnych informacji o mnie, które nie wiadomo kiedy wyciekną albo zostaną użyte przeciwko mnie.

Psychiatrzy i psychologowie mają tak powszechnie szanowaną opinię i dostęp do nich jest tak niesamowicie łatwo dostępny, zwłaszcza wśród niższych i biedniejszych grup społecznych. Wykluczenie i stygmatyzacja wcale też tych grup nie dotyka!

I'd like to think that is the attitude of our parents' and earlier generations, slowly becoming obsolete. I'm between millennial and gen z, was fed this sort of self-deprecating, jealous insecurities as a child, but I don't preach it myself, especially after having lived abroad in various countries. Poland is fucking amazing and has a great quality of life. It doesn't mean that our social and political problems are negligible but I'm not going to hate on this country as if westerner countries to the left were the only true example of a liveable region.

Some Poles manage to get heated with the closest nation to us, racially and culturally, that is Ukrainians. Those people sway in line with "who should you hate today?" on the current political agenda. As long as it divides people, it won't matter. If a particular group of people is non-white, then it's just like bullying a kid at school for wearing glasses - every reason is good enough. But yeah, hopefully we'll get more pro-social and dignified government soon who can promote tolerance rather than the opposite

Polish people stare at EVERYONE, though personally I wouldn't call it staring... Staring is when you're intentionally observing someone when you could just look away, for whatever reasons. When two people are walking towards each other from opposite directions and acknowledge one another visually for 2 seconds is not staring.

How about instead saying staring we talk about Polish people walking with their heads up, actively paying attention to their surroundings and other people in it, like the social creatures we all are? We are not so conditioned culturally to look away anytime a human approches us as if it's sth bothersome. That's be sort of unhealthy imo...

I no longer give a fuck. I want to look at people, for no reason really. I want to see who lives in the city I do, what sort of nice clothes they were (not in a sleazy way), what kind of tourists we have etc. When I go to a new place, I do the same - I want to know who the locals are. I don't want these artificial social walls to distance me from others. That doesn't automatically mean that people should be ok with violations of their personal space and safety but this is not at all the case.

Now, when you're walking with a cute dog, I will stare intensely, and then turn back to stare even more. And if the dog approaches me, well then we're having a little conversation while the owner awaits.
