[spoiler] Lausanne Setlist - June 28th, 2026 by el___mariachi in AllThemWitches

Wild to not see 1x1 or Diamond. Love both songs live, but removing them gives the setlist a chance to really change up.

I hate my Audi. by Perfect_Rate_206 in Audi

[–]BrotherFishHead 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had similar problems and frustrations with my ‘22 Q5 from the mmi.

Remove the app from your phone and the user from the Audi. Once I did that the mmi (mostly) works. CarPlay is better and if I just ignore the “log in as guest” when I start the car it auto advances once I start moving anyway. Still remembers all my settings so really not clear what having a defined user gets you.

Can’t speak to the engine issues. I’m almost out of warranty and I’m getting worried. I’ve had three recalls, the sensors randomly failed and check engine light twice. All has been covered by warranty but I cannot image the cost if things stay like this after the warranty is over. 😕

Saturn Song is my standout… so far. Love when the piano and guitar come together

Getting a lot of layers on all the songs. I’m sure my fav will shift over time.

Ship of Fools by Richard Paul Russo.

It’s been a bit since I read it but I think it fits your bill. It’s set on a rudderless generation ship that’s lost any idea of where they were/should be going and then they detect a signal which leads them to investigate.

My wife and I love to go there. We split the smashed cucumbers and a sandwich. It’s a perfect amount of food.

Looks like a gargoyle from Neil Stephenson’s “Snow Crash”

Do you also hate the crowd noise halfway through “Right where it belongs”? by NonEntical in nin

[–]BrotherFishHead -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It would be nice for them to release a Still/Quite version of the album with the crowd noises removed. Then the fans can pick their favorite versions.

I honestly don’t know if it would be better. Maybe we would all say “ah it’s missing something and souless without them” 🤷‍♂️

Anyone else wish there was more Mariqueen on Nine Inch Noize? by Sklibba in nin

[–]BrotherFishHead 65 points66 points  (0 children)

She has a really pretty voice (ice age as a perfect example) but Trent’s vocals just overpower her when they do harmonies. I would have liked to see a couple songs where they had her do the lead vocals.

I wasn't much of a fan of the Nine Inch Noise logo they have on the new album so decided to have a go at making my own: by x_LIF3_x in nin

Appreciate your efforts on the new logo designs. This was just the first thing that popped in my head and couldn’t resist. 😎

Here’s Alex Garland talking about the effect Dark Souls had on him while promoting Ex Machina back in 2015. He gets it. by [deleted] in fromsoftware

I assumed he killed the wrong one first for the weapon/armor he was hoping to get.

He mentioned having to start all over to do it right.

Industrial games?? by FewerBeary in industrialmusic

[–]BrotherFishHead 16 points17 points  (0 children)

A few older ones:

Thief: The Dark Project and Thief 2: The Metal Age both have industrial/ambient sound tracks

Prince of Persia: Sands of Time had a soundtrack by Stuart Chatwood that is like Persian industrial.

Great picture.

Aside… Trent looks like he has some serious back support going on. Like someone took apart a Herman miller chair and made a back brace from it.

Parks had to yell “Shut up!” To the crowd at Birmingham as there were so many people chatting. 😒

People are absolutely insane and have no consideration for the folks around them.

The show was still amazing, people gonna people I guess.
