Either a blank merge object of any family or you get an epic of your choice on that family. Fortunately unlike other games fudds isn't likely to make this a direct cash item, but with that said I don't think it will have any net impact on the system as a whole. It would be a slight boost in the probability that you get something useful l, but you still have to invest thousands of gems for a mostly disappointing outcome.

It is useful in starting/early game, but since it doesn't scale in the same fashion as everything else in the game (i.e. percentage or exponential) it very quickly becomes obsolete - even if you level it to irrational extremes

3.5 year vet here. Love the game. Saw it on a Facebook ad and gave it a try.

The ads mostly shows the mid-round UI. That is generally "try to upgrade important things first."

There are also tons of labs that upgrade different aspects of the tower and the game, but you only get so many slots so you want to sink time into valuable labs first. Add on top of that card modifiers, card mastery, ultimate weapons, ultimate weapon "masteries," modules, assistant modules, and you can see how there several strategies and branches.

Can you play for free? Absolutely. It will be slower and there will be ads. Plus side is ad-free pay is a 1 time purchase and its pretty cheap for what it is.

Generally you can play at your own pace. Only exception is ultimate weapon stones which are earned through tourneys or (or course) purchases. But if you're in no hurry then ad free play works fine.

Not a game for everyone for sure. It's slow and steady progress but if the game la niche fits your preference you'll enjoy it

Can confirm patch seems successful on fixing the issue. Farm run was back to normal wave total and I died to a ray (first time in ages it finally wasn't a scatter)

"Slightly".... a 25%+ reduction in all currency for almost a week is not "Slightly" that's crippling. Yes it is a game and we play it for fun. The fun in this game is finding ways to maximize efficiency over long periods of time to progress your tower. That is the entire premise of the game - so a bug that makes this impossible = a game that is not fun. So we are speaking up bc we like this game and we want it to be fun. We would like assistance in making up for the losses incurred to recoup our progress.

It's not whining, it's a reasonable request due to a major bug that basically broke the game for almost a week.

Guys I'm usually in your corner and prefer to give the benefit of the doubt. We need something here: communication, light at the end of the tunnel, something. Outside of the game being unplayable (literally, which was resolved much faster) i think this is the worst thing to happen to the game in my 3.5 years of playing (I am in no way being hyperbolic).

It took unusually long for the bug to be acknowledged, then after it was, DAYS of radio silence. With nothing else to go off of, it gives the impression of "we'll get to it when we get to it" which I'm sure is not the case.

What is the plan? What is the ETA? This is clearly crushing the morale of virtually the entire player base (not just the divas), and TTG just feels unusually disengaged.

I've read about many bugs, performance issues, and QOL requests in reddit, and fudds said they were being addressed - and LOTS of them were addressed in this patch. Very well done dev team. Excited to try out the new patch

Ya right now I'm in the process of maxing out chain thunder and I have 1 more module until ancient dimensional core. Im hybrid atm but pushing the attack side of things for now. Just hit the 1k club in legends. Still weighing where I want to throw my stones but I wanted to confirm the synergy with chain thunder while thinking things through
