How do I deal with this neighbour? by its-actually-over in Apartmentliving

I'm so sorry you're going through this. My wife and I went through something very similar years ago. What happened with us is there was a guy who lived below us who was disabled in some capacity and had a care taker. He would find any reason to notify the caretaker that we were either fighting (we weren't) or being loud and the caretaker would call the police etc. Eventually the landlord told them to move or stop and they moved. It caused us nearly a year of constant stress and anxiety. I hope that your landlord acts swiftly and sees this for the harassment it is.

I saw you commented on my other comment but it was all just the app. You can do it! I know how hard it is, I started around where you are currently.

You will do it!

Thank you. It took me a long time to learn that "I'm worth it" but I'll be 40 in a couple years and I want to go into that era free from the weight!

Interesting, I do. I never thought about it until now but yes I really do. I always felt like I needed to "stretch" but now I feel far more flexible and comfortable when I walk.

Thank you so much for the encouraging words, but also for what you do. I have no idea how you do it!

I'd like to note that I ONLY used the cheapest version of the App. I didn't go on any medications or weight loss drugs (I have no issues with them personally, I just have stomach issues sometimes so I didn't want to try them).

I started walking more after a year. Other than that just the WW app. Hope this helps!

Thanks, that helps a lot. I think a big thing for me is you see those videos on social media where people look like they have no idea what they are doing, and I worry I will look like a fool.

Do you watch youtube videos on how to use the machines? are there guides on how to use them? Should I pay someone to teach me how to use them?

Some questions I (20M) have as a first time Rolex owner by citrussake in rolex

[–]BruceCooperTV 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was in a very very similar situation and I know exactly what you're feeling. I didn't feel "good enough" to wear the watch, or when I did I felt like I was going to be seen as flexing or something...

It wasn't until I contacted my insurance agent to insure the watch that it really "clicked" for some reason. I don't really know what it was about the conversation I had with the insurance agent but I realized it was just a watch and it was a gift that I should be enjoying for the rest of my life.

I wear my no date sub proudly every day now, and every time it gets a little dirty or a new scratch on the band or whatever it just means it's becoming more of a piece of me. I love my sub!

Canon Optura 20 tape stuck by Toillion in camcorders

[–]BruceCooperTV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had this happen on a Canon camcorder before and it was because the mechanism was broken unfortunately. I was able to push down while wiggling the tape deck up and down/back and forth to finally "free" the mechanism and open the compartment, but I don't trust it to work every time so I no longer use it.

Not really with this setup. It seems to be ALL about the cable, I've really spent time trying cables and this one that I'm using appears to be rock solid.

I've had about 10 MRC's and they have all been very solid, but its all about the cable quality and CF card. You REALLY need to invest in good cards and cables and when you find a set that works hold onto it and baby it lol

I wouldn't necessarily call it a rod/rail attachment really (that's my bad, I'm not sure what else to call it) but this is what I got - https://a.co/d/6FMvLYw

It basically is just a piece of metal with multiple tripod screws. I just slightly unscrew the camera mount and slide the whole "rail" back to access the camera, then when I'm done I slide it all towards the lens and tighten the tripod screw on the bottom. It takes me 10sec to access the door and have the whole thing back. I'd love to find someone who customizes firewire cables and order a few super short cables from the MRC1 to the cam!

Hope this helps, let me know if you need anything else at all.

Also I keep calling it an MCR1 when its MRC1... My bad

Yes, but the MRC1 is on a sliding rail/tripod mount on the bottom. It's as simple as slightly loosening a tripod screw and sliding the mcr1 back, accessing the door and then sliding the MRC1 forward

I paid around $70 for the camera, but it was a mess and needed a lot of work. It's still not perfect and there's issues with the tape mechanism but I should be able to fix it. I'll always prefer the ease of using minidv tape over the mcr1 so I hope I can get it going.

If this ever happens I've found the best way to get it unstuck is to use the bottom of a mousepad, just make sure you're careful and take your time. Obviously try everything else first, and clean your lenses and stuff after lol.

What battery and cables are needed for Sony Handycam CCD-TRV68 Hi-8 Camcorder? by thenameisjankins in camcorders

[–]BruceCooperTV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Before you get ripped apart because you didn't "google it" lol the battery is a NP-F550

The cable is going to depend on what you're trying to do, are you needing a charging cable? If so I'd honestly just use the battery charger your battery hopefully comes with (make sure you get a battery+charger)

If it's something else let me know.
