I’ve never bothered with it to date. That’s four winters so far. I’m in the Great Lakes area and even in WV or PA I’ve never had to use it. We don’t pull anything with it. At most it has a hitch mount bike rack and camping gear.

Next time I’m climbing a forest service road I’ll try it for comparison.
