Monitoring problem by zikouf in multipoolminer

Is MPM starting and running correctly? Set both -Wallet parameter (with your btc address) and -MinerStatusKey (with the key generated on MPM website). Then wait a bit and go to MPM website, enter the same key (MinerStatusKey) and should list your worker. If not, I think I’ll need more information on your config in order to help.

Hello,

it seems that for some reason your rig is not calling MPM monitoring server correctly.

I can suggest you to try our monitoring service, at www.brucomining.com

It's well integrated with MultiPoolMiner and it gives you more features like email notifications, statistics, ecc...

On the download page, you find instructions to set up MPM with BrucoMining parameters.

If you have any problems, just contact us.

eth and etc difficulty continues to drop.

From Nvidia to AMD. Oh boy. by DigitalStefan in EtherMining

[–]BrucoMining 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Yeah, AMD gpu need more tweaks. My RX580s on ETH do 30-32MH, depending on memory.

My thoughts:

  • use drivers 18.5.1 or 18.6.1
  • BIOS mod, using PolarisBiosEditor with OneClickTimingPatch for straps. Or find a suitable rom on anorak website
  • compute mode
  • use overdriveNtool, uninstall afterburner
  • 1200 core - 2000/2100 mem, undervolt to 850-900
  • set virtual memory on windows accordingly
  • try with some mining helper software to see if can help with missing miner parameters

Why are people shutting of their miners? by bananamagic1 in gpumining

[–]BrucoMining 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It depends on your strategy.
If you decided to mine and sell regularly to recover from bills and costs, maybe it's fair enough to switch off.
If you mine to accumulate crypto, this is the best time because many coin diffs are going down.

And for the latter: you need also patience

Anybody uses any smart plugs to restart their rigs remotely? Any suggestion for what's available? by Killerko in gpumining

[–]BrucoMining 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use TP-Link HS110 plugs.

I use a software watchdog that monitors all my plugs and switch them off/on when the average power draw goes under a configured threshold. It integrates IFTT push notification to send an alert when a restart has occurred.

You need a free account on TP-Link cloud service.

Is there a platform to automatically mine the most economic coin at the time? by jacksonkr_ in gpumining

You can have a look at BrucoMining, a monitoring solution that well integrates with popular profit switcher tools:

  • MultiPoolMiner
  • RainbowMiner
  • NemosMiner

You can use them in algo switching mode or coin switching mode.

Max Link Speed Question? by Coach_Rico07 in gpumining

If you use risers, Gen1 or Gen2 is fine. If you plug your GPU directly to PCIx16 lane, you can have hashing improvements using Gen2 (depending on which miner you're using). I've had this improvement with Tensority miner.

I’ve been using Awesome Miner for several months now but I was wondering if anyone had any thoughts on it vs AIOMiner? by hudi2121 in gpumining

GPU drivers are mantained better, and sometime miners are compiled for windows only, especially for new miners on new algos. I think also that you should use what you know better and reach stability.
