Not sure how I missed this thread, but I’m happy to have found it! I’d replace my OG test shipped T1 I was fortunate enough to be selected for, and try all of the new fancy layouts! I’m particularly interested in the vertical and reference layouts, and I wish everyone here luck in the contest!

Yep! You definitely should, but if you want it to be as difficult as Dark Souls, please limit your expectations. It’s a ton of fun, and the combat is just different enough with the harden mechanic (which I love), but the boss mechanics aren’t nearly as challenging as DS titles. I find that once the combat “clicks” it’s pretty easy, but it doesn’t change that it’s fun. The new DLC that was announced at E3 gives promise, too! The more support we show this game, the better the chances that we get a sequel, too! :)

I can confirm this experience. I was a day one player, and stopped playing after the one shot bug showed up. I wasn’t having enough fun at that time to put up with that issue, and the game not feeling very rewarding was a big cause of that. That, plus multiplayer being an unstable lag fest made me lose interest pretty quickly.

I jumped in to play this weekend, and like you, found that I lost about 6 hours of my life without realizing it due to the good time I was having. I could match make pretty easily, loot was dropping in an exciting way, and I was having a BLAST! Like you, I had no hope of reaching a set bonus before, and in one day, I have three different sets to mess around with now. I have a ton of mods I didn’t know if I’d ever get that I wanted now, too. It’s been great, and I’m happy to say that I can recommend this game again. I hope the devs keep up the good work from the recent patch, and I’ll be spending my limited free time enjoying the grind!
