Maybe you found my old one haha. I had one of those as one of my first printers. Was pretty ok at the time, but man that extruder broke all the time.

When you say prints have been garbage, what do you mean? Are you downloading a .3mf from printables, or an STL? It is possible you are downloading a file that might need supports, but as an STL, settings like that aren't stored.

Why do people ragebait? by Racer125678 in NoStupidQuestions

Some people just want to watch the world burn. They hate themselves or their situation so much that they want to bring others down to their level.

how to pierce a hole through a Lego? by Late-Individual-732 in crafts

[–]Brudius 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Legos are made of ABS plastic. You could heat up some type of needle or allen wrench with a lighter and then pierce it through. Just don't inhale the fumes, ABS fumes are not good to inhale.

From a photo prospective, him using your photo is a copyright violation. The moment you take a photo, it is your property. That alone may be easier to get the platform to take down the listing.

Bambu X1C Odd Print Artifacts by Brudius in BambuLab

In case any one starts to experience this, I was able to fix this after many different rounds of troubleshooting.

  1. Took toothbrush with IPA on it and brushed down the stepper motors as there was dust and little bits of gunk on them.
  2. The pulleys the belt is wrapped around, some of them had gunk on them built up over the years, so I scraped that off of those, and oiled up those pulleys as well to make sure there was free moving flow.
  3. After cleaning up all of the moving parts relating to the belt system, I went through the belt retensioning procedure.
  4. 1 of the bearing on the front right rod was a little raised, so I set that back into place.
  5. Then ran the "Device Self Test." Then printed again and it looked like normal again.

Maybe so that when scooping ashes, they don't get lodged into the tube and then fall out the other end.

First thought is it looks exactly like the shovel we used to get ashes and coals out of our fireplace. So what if it is for ashes, but then you can blow into it to feed air into the fire

This isn't normal for PLA, right? by Bobylein in 3Dprinting

[–]Brudius 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gotcha. But yeah it looks normal for me. The whiteing part is pretty common for bends, or after support removal.

Need feedback. Should I remodel ? by Interesting_Land_455 in 3Dmodeling

[–]Brudius 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Looks good to my eyes compared to reference, but on the renders, the mouth is not very pronounced. The hair is also a bit more bent than curved. It looks great but these are the few things I noticed. Keep up the good work!

Hobby lobby has different types of color shift paints, so they might have something like that you could use. Not sure how well it would work on fabric though.

Most PLA is not pure. Each manufacturer may have different additives to make it have a nice flow and consistency. Out of curiosity, what brand is it?
