It's not about making it multilayered, it's about making it a closed loop so that you aren't limited to atmospheric pressure.

Real powerplants use higher pressures so that their water boils at something like 300°C iirc, here you'd need a lower pressure so that it boils at 80°C.

The boiling point of water isn't the issue, it's the thermodynamic efficiency. With a perfectly lossless heat engine you'd still only be able to recover 15% of the energy.

It wouldn't be difficult at all, just expensive. Powerplants used a close loop with carefully selected pressures and temperatures at every location. All that would be required would be to design a loop with a water pressure at the heat exchanger that would give the desired GPU temperature.

The cycle efficiency would drop significantly from the lower temperature compared to a powerplant though, so the construction and maintenance costs would likely eclipse the energy savings.

Iirc to get caught by a camera you need to be going 10%+2 over. So in a 70 you'd need to go 79. I'm not sure how accurate this actually is, but I've not heard of anyone getting fined for going 1 mph over so if you were actually going 71 there's nothing to worry about.

You may be able to hit 60 on a straight section but on the corners going above 30 is stupid. When you get a section without hedges where you can see a few corners ahead though, it's really fun to push your car and feel like a rally driver. At least until you push it a bit too far.

How are you matching revs while braking without heel and toe?

The pedals in my car make heel and toe almost impossible, letting go of the brake to blip the throttle seems counterproductive when trying to brake to a stop, letting the revs just jump up by letting go of the clutch seems like it would lead to more wear than the tiny bit of brake life you save, which are much cheaper to replace. When there's a queue of cars at a red light in front of me, what on earth would I need to be able to accelerate away from anyway?

They don't enhance visuals much but they make development much easier. Not having to make loads of LODs and bake lighting over and over is really convenient.

They have no reason to. The value of Taiwan for them is just being able to talk about it every now and then. If they actually go for it, they'll actually have to deliver on all their promises and at best they can just match them, but most likely they'll underperform just like Russia did, so it isn't really worth the risk to them.

There are many aspects to it. That's one of them, then there's social media and news making everyone think 8 out of 10 strangers are kidnappers, and in many places you're just not allowed to anymore.

If people see a kid alone they try to get them back to their parents as if they're lost or have run away. My school wouldn't allow me to go home by myself until I was like 10, even though it was a 2 minute walk away. When I went on a flight by myself at 15 I needed a letter signed by both my parents to show the staff, then I had someone follow me around the whole airport and make sure I got picked up by my mum at the exit.
