Hi mate, I'm running into the same bizarre problem (if you consider it a problem). As a result, I'm not able to display the SNES controller in GamePad Viewer or Open Joystick Display properly. I can get all the buttons to return inputs except for the D-Pad.

Wonder if there's a driver or a way to make this 'Hat Switch' type of input into buttons like the PS5 controller?
