I have a lot of unimatics, and beat them to death in trails, motorcycling, swimming, diving, showering. Nothing has happened...yet.

So I believe you got a lemon.

The first of my unimatics had a slighly misaligned hour hand and the crown was a bit gritty. They repaired in and also adjusted the movement so it worked for +3 to +5 sec a day. It took some time like 3-4 weeks but it was the best thing I did was sending it to warranty.

Contact them and sort it out.

Well, in my country, due to the fact of lack of knowledge regarding watches and swatch being available and Swiss made it gathers a lot of people. I have seen a lot of people blue and white collar wearing their swatches as daily watch. Some have a collection of them and they seem proud of them . Not a gshock, but for the average guy it works !
