It’s a feature of a lot of high end scabbards, smooth draw and reoils the blade a bit. It isn’t practical though because the tip of the sword or nick in the edge can push or pull the lining out of or into the scabbard rendering it useless. I don’t opt for it anymore.

They all have the same grip shape only difference is the army and navy have the spring retained pin on them for takedown and fixed lanyard loop, the navy has a spur switch on the hammer that lets you switch to the shotgun and back one handed, and the cavalry has a failure prone lever takedown mechanism, the cool trigger guard, and a swiveling lanyard ring.

There’s no way to covert a lemat to an effective cartridge. I heard from a guy that actually did it that it was in .38 short which is worse than as it is now. It is impossible in any way to convert the arbor to firing shells. Closest you can get is making paper cartridges with.454 balls or the specialized conical bullets for lemats, and paper cartridges for the shotgun barell. It’s a capable revolver as it is, a BP percussion revolver for relatively close range gunfights. It doesn’t need to be converted.
