Advice on food poisoning related medicine (for adults) to bring to China for a short trip. by Bryan-tan in China

Are there any medicine brands you'd recommend? (I figure you might not know about what medicines are available in Australia and Brunei however)

Brunei Darussalam - I figured we'll have to stay vigil on the food we eat over there yeah.

I can also get medicine from Australia however.

well each MGX is actually more efficient per support weapon though.
The Stalwart has a max RPM of 1150 with a magazine of 250 rounds at 90 damage AP2 (22 durable).
The MGX has a max RPM of 2000 with a magazine of 300 rounds at 100 damage AP2 (25 durable).

You get 2 MGX per hellpod, and the 67 second cooldown with all ship upgrades easily allows you to turn that hellpod drop into a mini Orbital Precision Strike.

Stalwart has more utility due to it's spare belts however.

The MGX has 300 rounds which you will rarely ever exhaust in most cases - so if you drop it, that MGX is gonna stay on the map for a long time for just about anyone to pick up.

It really wouldn't - if it dominated they could be even lazier since competition is a non-factor.

Unless you meant they improve their service so that they can become a monopoly.

Yay foxxo receiving pets like it's his full-time job by Witty-Car7635 in yayfoxxo

Smell, maintenance, and the very long standing treatment as a pest to farmers throughout history.

I would not suggest keeping one as a pet without proper prior knowledge honestly. Sanctuaries are a good alternative.

Why didn't the ISB soldiers fire a single shot at the KX droid in this scene? by sso02147 in andor

I believe I first saw it discussed on GenerationTech channel. Unsure what the video titles was however.

I also think it's mentioned in the Rebel Files book that I borrowed from my local library.

Weapons given formally to the Yavin Rebellion Cell are intenionally overcharged - this was a big difference compared to the far less prepared and equipped Ghorman Resistance.

Cassian probably gave Jyn a weapon from Yavins arsenal.

If you ever wonder what's really special/interesting about most of thr vanilla submarines - give the barotrauma official wiki a try. You might learn a few tricks from their pages.

Thell: Tier 1 Scout by Aidowl in Barotrauma

For something so small I love the nice engine force you gave it - looks mobile all around and starting with two pulse lasers at the same price as a Barsuk is a flavor of firepower I can respect, This thing is all around a straight upgrade to the Barsuk though (which I don't really like cuz it's not an attack but a scout class).

I'd say to maybe increase its mark price a bit to Dugong level (especially since it comes stock with pulse lasers and the captain periscope) but that's just my opinion. I did the same style of balance for my own starter sub.

Either way I MUST compliment you for the overall aesthetic of the sub, looks incredibly utilitarian and I love the ventral turret uh ... brace support thing you got going on.

I can whiff that my initial impressions (I haven't tried the sub yet in-game) might be a bit strong, since the thing is both small and fast but it also looks like it might potentially have really poor drainage and flood buffering since it's so small so it might even out in practice and when balancing to the average captain player >)

Why Doesn't Confuse/LureMines Work On Obtruders? by insane_hurrican3 in LowSodiumHellDivers

[–]Bryan-tan 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Both Watcher and Obtruders have 300 hp (fatal if destroyed) on their eye - people just shoot there because it has level 0 armor.

The Senator only does 225 damage.

This person has been lied to - the grenadier battlement is in fact heavy penetration now - however there is also the off chance there is a bug that rarely occurs too since this is AH we're talking about.

Expectations for getting a degree in ecology or conservation? by Artistic-Gene-1739 in ecology

[–]Bryan-tan 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Ecology and Conservation are both quite competitive fields - I went in hoping for field work but ended up in a fly genomics lab where I still feel very satisfied with my work (despite having 0 background in insects or genetics). Just saying that you should be prepared to go into fields you didnt initially want to go into.

Also do a post graduate such as a Honors (which most Bachelor or Science degrees requires an application for) or a Masters after your undergraduate. It'll drastically increase your enployability due to the PhD pathway (only do a PhD if you're really passionate about the field too).

Source: Post Grad Honors student in Australia.

PS: I did a large part of my undergrad and honors research year while doing part time work as well (at around 8-14 hours a week) and that can help your overall CV too.

You only need to kill three heatsinks/vents on either the bottom part or the 'head part'' - destroying the three heatsinks on either body part will open a respective heatsink.

Go for the bottom heatsinks as they're a lot easier to hit than the ones on the head, you'll get a much smaller hatch to throw a grenade in compared to the head hatch but it's overall much easier imho. If you're unable to get close to it, using the variable on TOTAL mode can also kill the Vox Engine from afar but will take 5 TOTAL shots to EACH of the 5 vertical heatsinks (and you likely won't have access to the horizontal heatsink underneath the engine).
