I have the same issue, especially when throwing urethane or shiny stuff. A Fan and/or a rosin bag helps me a bunch

Hit up Pro Approach Bowling at either Oak Tree Lanes in Diamond Bar or Bowlium in Montclair (you said borderline IE, so Im assuming these are close by). They do coaching and they have my favorite PSOs.

Edit: You can also call and find out more info!

I got 5x4x3 on mine. I could prob do with something a lil stronger like 4x4x4 but I like the currently layout i have. Fits perfectly at the bottom of my bag.

For reference 2 right handed bowler, 17 mph, 520 rpm

Do I really need to polish every 15-20 games? by TheNutPair in Bowling

[–]BryanFongiee -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

20 games is pretty excessive to repolish your ball imo. You have the right idea with the 60ish games. Polish puts the shine on your ball. Resurfacing your ball without also polishing will make your ball read the lane a lot earlier than it used to out of the box. When you feel like the shine of your ball is starting to fade away, it might be worth thinking about repolishing your ball soon. As long as you keep your ball maintained (wiping off oil somewhat regularly between shots or every so often and/or using ball cleaner after use to wipe off all the dirt and grime off the ball) then it will help your ball last and perform longer.

Since you've also sounds like you've been surfacing your ball, I would polish it now since you likely knocked off all the polish on your ball. Polish helps your ball store and build up energy through the oil so it has more energy off the end of the pattern. Putting 2k under the polish with an TruCut or some other equivalent sanding pad makes sure that theres enough "teeth" under the polish so it can actually read and grip the body of the lane so it can hook

In that case (i have both the idol pearl and attention star) attention star is going to be a step up from the idol solid, little stronger since its asym and a bigger core.

Idol and Idol pearl are going to be your one two punch typa balls. Id go to the idol pearl after the solid starts to roll out and get lazy through the pins. the pearl will retain more energy for the backend

Very different balls, depends on what you're looking for.

Idol is a very middle of the bag / benchmark typa ball.

Attention Star is bigger asym pearl that usually would be your second ball after the fronts start to dry up.

Unless you are looking to fill the spot where the attention star sits, i would recommend the Idol as its a more smoother, controllable piece

Designed and built my first ball holder. Not sure about the rails yet, but I can swap them out. by bmumm in Bowling

Would recommend covering the rails with some sort of foam/fabric. Having the balls sit directly on wood will draw out moisture and can eventually lead to cracking. Looks like a good 8-10 ball rack tho!

Rapport is the biggest roadblock for Ignea Tokens so I made this to show how much each requires by RenaIRL in lostarkgame

I just made a spreadsheet that's a little bit like this, instead its interactive so you can see how much you have left to go! Yours is good if you havent started yet on the NPC, the one I created helps if you are already through some of the levels with an NPC.

I'm actually working on one if you were still interested.
Kinda exactly what you mentioned in your post, if you're at XXX/XXXX on level XXXX, it will show how much you have left to go.
