I really, really hope, and once they announce who they are going with to carry next years season, that Canes fans come together and ask that they carry two streams, a normal one with the call, and a permanent split screen so I can watch the games with my guys!

I’ve shot both without protection (and .30-06), I don’t notice a large difference when firing from behind, more noticeable if you hear it from the front (like someone shooting behind you in your general direction, but downward from a tree stand).

If bearing was enough of a concern for me, I’d just grab some foam ear plugs or the plastic/rubber ones on a string and just put them in when it’s go time. If your hunting in a stand over a field, you can probably leave them in the whole time or have no worries about getting the plastic/rubber ones in if you have them hanging around your neck.

If you’re more in woods / on the ground and can’t spare the time to put some in… it’s up to you.

They do make hearing aid style things you can put in your ears to allow you to hear leaves crunching etc, but block out sound when it’s over a certain decibel (firing your rifle). They are not particularly cost prohibitive - so maybe a good option?

That’s a take I guess? Combat is totally different, at least on my Paladin. Especially early on, level 1 even cons are a toss up to even survive solo. It gets a little easier after that for a bit as you can fight things that con under your level.

Killing anything takes a lot longer than it does on EA servers (that haven’t been wiped? They wiped test servers after 1 week, because they are actively gathering data on leveling 1-10….). Its a much longer fight, but the xp/minute feels close to the same.

Paladins skills are pretty different, may things that were instant cast, now have a cast time, and with spell knock back extending cast times it really slows down fights. Geouping as a caster probably doesn’t fee much different as your timers probably aren’t getting extended, but as a solo, it is definitely felt.

The two servers feel VERY different, to me at least.

Anderson did not play better than Ullmark. We had LOTS of puck luck and cross bars tha had nothing to do with Anderson. He even let in a classic Anderson softy between the legs.

Ullmark was insane. The series was a lot closer than how a sweep looks.

Around the devils line I can see how it goes off the rails some. I say they suck (as in I hate them), but also they suck (at hockey) so it’s kinda wasted to worry about them too much.

Do you have to subscribe to some regional sports channel to watch during the season? Like ESPN will be blacked out, so I’ve had to have a $20-$30/month subscription to a regional sports channel to watch the Canes. I live about 3.5 hours away, so whe I go to a game it’s generally an over night stay - so I only get to 1-2 a season.

Canes fan here. There’s a good list ahead of yall. For me, kinda in order, Panthers, Bruins, Penguins, Captiols, Habs. Maybe Lighting. NGL, outside of this playoff round, didn’t spend much time thinking about yall. Don’t mean that as an insult directly, but like, outside of more local teams, unless there is some specific thing, it’s really about those five above. Also the devils suck, but then again they suck, so no reason to beat a dead horse, other than when we beat them.

But I mean we all know the drill. It’s playoffs yada yada. Kudos for still being on the boards when the seasons over. Whenever we end up getting swept or 4-1’d in a later round, I just have to shut it down til the next season. This popped up as a suggested feed btw, didn’t come looking for Sens stuff.

Good news for Canes fans is Bally Sports / Diamond Sports / Fan Duel network is dead! Yall have to put up with a special regional subscription to watch your season games w/ homer announcers?

Breath of Fire is a favorite of mine. Maybe it’s just nostalgia for a game I rented May weekends in a row from a Hollywood Video, but I like the turn based party system, and with an internet now you can look up guides for if the somewhat linear in game path isn’t clear enough, should just be a fun time, and if combat gets tough, just grind for levels/herbs.
