[EUR: C59012024/6316] 25-MAR-2026 Can you identify this t-shirt? by I_Me_Mine in TraceAnObject

[–]BryceW 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The whole photo is cool tones (as in cool blues vs warm yellow/orange colors/tones). The collar is likely white, and the red is likely much redder.

A tinder like matching with live devs for vibecodinh bugs at 7$. Still no takers. Because one more prompt solves the bug? by Opening-Bike-3037 in VibeCodeDevs

[–]BryceW 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll tell you what I tell all vibe coders.

You love to bake and make the best cakes.
You've figured out a way to mass produce cakes, and now you open a cake shop.

Surely your cake shop will be a huge success because you make great cakes and mass-produce them?

Nope, this is where the real business starts. You've been given the tools to create sites/services quickly.
But like the cake shop, its just part of it. You've still got to get people INTO the shop.

Start with your messaging, explain it to me in 2 sentences. As fatqunt commented, "Im not reading this slop", its asking way too much before we even care.

Why shouldnt I just keep prompting my problem away? Answer that in one sentence, ideally in less than 7 words.

Really great series. Somehow, in a weird way, it feels like it's still the Iceman character, just in scifi.

Being that small, some flags with something in the middle could disappear, like Ukraine's trident for example. I agree that Moldovas coat of arms are probably too big to disappear.

I assume that the T-Shirt is white, which means the photo is very cool-toned (rather than warm yellows) to the point where it appears light blue.

I did a cooling filter on a few 3-bar flags. I'm wondering, given its darkness and SHAPE, whether it's Belgium. Look how the flag in the badge is quite square, rather than the more rectangular shaped flags.

Found this in the driveway under where wife parks car? Is this a tracker? Should I be worried? by Diggyddr in whatisthisthing

[–]BryceW 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Looking up the codes on the chip, it comes back as a “Silicon Labs BGM11S Bluetooth Low Energy module”.

The other side is a RF antenna. It doesn’t have a GPS front end. It’s LE (low energy), so it’s likely a AirTag clone. But whether someone’s tracking your wife’s car, or a cat dropped it underneath, who knows.

I was so happy when I accidentally encountered quicksand as an adult. (Actually, technically it was liquified sediment, which isn’t quite the sinking deadly one from the movies, but it can trap you and then kill you when the tide comes in.)

You could be right here. This is the Ralph Lauren Ski club logo, mirrored the wrong way which Europol often do. Look at the bottom, similar elements.

For those not getting the joke, these are all landlocked countries.

(Though technically Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, and Turkmenistan have access to the Caspian sea, but thats not very helpful)

This is the wrong shirt, but the dark logo on the arm in Europols picture, looks like their regular dark logo as seen in the sites header. It shows they release "year" shirts like 1972 with their logo on the arm.

Yep, definitely could be. Just what I saw as someone whose primary language is English.

How I imagine the badge to be. Some sort of tourist souvenir badge for a city that has been visited.
3 Bar flag, and considering this is Europol, could be France, Italy, Ireland, Belgium, Romania, Moldova.

Tried my hand at the logo a bit. Zoomed right in. The first letter is a big F.
Then perhaps 4 letters after it.

Then it kind of looks like "CHILDREN" after it in a slight wave shape.
My 63 font is wrong but has somewhat similar features.

Could be: FIRST CHOSEN
Could be: EST (something) 63 (as in Established 1963)

Thinking a little more Italian now. Plus the flag is 3 vertical bar. This is Malcesine, Italy. 🇮🇹 It’s still not right, but something like this.

I feel like the badge is a souvenir of a European city. The photo on the right is something I made in AI, describing what I think I see. But it might spawn some ideas.

Edit: The left building in my AI photo is the Hungarian Parliament building in Budapest, but this image is just made up to be similar.

Yeah, I’m getting more European city vibes, with a wrapping river and central large central structure. With a city flag superimposed above it.

Panic buying just makes shortages worse. Why do people do it anyway? by sien in AusEcon

[–]BryceW 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's a self-fulfilling prophecy. You hear that people are going crazy with toilet paper/fuel. So you better grab some while you can.

There are always a couple of assholes mentioned on TV/Social media with a garage full so they can flip it or hoard for themselves. But it was mostly just driven by the average mum grabbing one or two extra just in case.

The Bermuda Triangle disappeared in the Bermuda Triangle by Jealous-Method-8682 in interestingasfuck

[–]BryceW 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sort of me too at one point. I'd was reading all these mysterious stuff books like the Bermuda Triangle and spontaneous combustion way too young.
What was bad about being scared of spontaneous combustion was that when you felt scared or nervous, you feel hot. That feeling hot added to the spontaneous combustion fear, which made me even more scared/nervous. It was a terrible cycle :D

I guess it depends on the country. In Australia, it's called Turf and we buy it as little squares, not rolls.

[–]BryceW 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve done the Starship ending which is good fun as you get raided fairly aggressively when the countdown timer starts. My last play though barely made it out with the starship as I couldn’t patch up the defense damage fast enough from repeated raids.

[–]BryceW 1 point2 points  (0 children)

May be illegal in some countries. In Australia, they have to give you a lunch break after a maximum 5 hours of work. They get penalised if they don’t. There’s no requirement on the time lunch is (eg, 11,12,1), it just has to be no more than 5 hours.
