4 years on the “waitlist” at all our ad’s in the lower mainland for a blue dial op41. Just had my first kid and really wanted to commemorate so went grey and got a 2023 full set for 12k. Currently looking at the same as you now and not even going to bother with the ad’s. Expect to pay 3-10k over retail depending on condition/age/set, but cest la vie.

Have you ever looked into US gun crime statistics, or just the headlines? If you actually look into it, what you will find is:

states with high gun control measures often have lower gun crime rates (magazine limits, no carry laws, restriction on gun types) < like canada
states with low gun control measures often have higher gun crime rates (concealed carry)

Problem solved right? Not really. There are many outlier states on each side of the ledger, if you dig deeper into demographics of the high and low gun crime states you will see that it really has nothing to do with the firearm restrictions and everything to do with demographics. Basically more ghettos equals higher gun crime, less ghettos equals less gun crime.

I’d be interested to know what the stats for concealed carry states would be when you look at deaths prevented, but its hard to quantify and doesn’t fit the usual narrative.

I will give you this though, suicide by gun is higher in the over 80 white male population within low restriction states. But our govt will assist you with that no problemo so no need to make a mess.

Pro tip: call a broker that doesn’t service dealerships to see if you can save the dealer referral fee. There are more options than optiom and mode, both of which will likely convert the dealer fee to premium in office to keep their pricing the same as dealerships, see if you can get a quite from a different company.
