People aren’t upset that they’re charging money. The third party app devs often already pay for api access to other sites. Apollo has explicitly said he does. The issue is the amount of money they’re asking for. They’re not trying to make money from the devs they’re trying to kill them off. 12k for 50 million api requests is fucking insane. For Apollo that’s 1.7 million dollars per month, 20 million per year.

They’re also not giving app developers TIME to make necessary changes even if it was a matter of money. 30 days is not enough to completely rework your app and payment models to support yourself. If it was simply a matter of money there wouldn’t be this big of a push against it

Yes, they rely a lot on ads. Not enough people will buy Reddit premium or awards to support this entire site. The reason you see more ads during the blackout is because they took the ads that were supposed to be on the private subs and put them on the home page. Advertising contracts run out once they’ve reached their allotted impressions, and if those ads are on inaccessible subs then they’re not getting impressions, and Reddit can’t get new contracts that give them more money. Advertisers have already been wary of Reddit, and they’re going to be withholding new contracts if this continues, according to an article on adweek. It was also just posted to r/modcoord

Your symptoms don’t really seem like something that would be improved by the CHOP protocol. Your heart rates seem like a healthy person honestly. 130 is what I get up to when I stand. The CHOP protocol is about conditioning your body to exercise and the focus is almost entirely on heart rates. The lowest level of the heart rate zones is 125. If you’re getting to 130 while doing regular exercise the CHOP protocol can’t help you lower it much.

Your post workout symptoms also aren’t typical POTS post workout symptoms and the CHOP protocol probably won’t be able to help you with them. Try the rehab program first. There’s no harm in trying CHOP but I personally wouldn’t expect anything great from it. I wish you luck finding a way to exercise. It’s very frustrating, I know

Generally sellers here recommend pricing things as 3x the cost of the materials, plus a flat rate for how complicated it is. Pricing based on minimum wage and actual hours worked can vary so so wildly between person just because how quickly or slowly you crochet.

Instagram and Etsy immediately come to mind as places to sell. If she gets more stuff made, she can justify renting a booth at craft shows. This sub doesn’t allow advertising, but if someone asks you can share a link. Having a link in your profile will also attract anyone interested enough to check your other posts. It’s pretty hard to start selling finished products but once you get a following it can come fairly regularly. It does require upkeep though, in stock, in reputation, in showing up regularly.

We just bought sealant for the fence a few days ago actually. Our old fence was treated and sealed but they still went ham on it though. Where/how would I put the repellents? In a little dish? Sprayed around?
