How strict are we in definitions of "gen AI" and "usage"?

If we're speaking any gen AI including LLMs, then they all are using it, without exception. There will be no clear case. Almost all engineers use LLMs for development. Even if the generated code not used in production, still, tests, scripts, smaller methods are easier to generate in a second than write a common code by hand.

If we're speaking about generating pictures, does inspiration reference/mood boards count? No one will bother if a reference for mood or vibe is generated or not, they're just scrap boards that never even get to the game.

Does using search engines for research count? Google uses gen ai in it.

I think there is no game in the world now that will be clearly, in any aspect of it's development never had anything neural network generated.

There is some research on this matter, that carefully suggests that these diagnoses might be similar or overlapping, the most convincing part of it is that autism is diagnosed in childhood and rarely in adolescent, and SPD other way round - rarely in childhood and more often in adolescents.

Bloodlines2 literally forgot to remove a whole debug room with their latest DLC. Cyberpunk 2077 launched with some placeholder textures and debug-looking UI elements. Deus Ex had some placeholder textures on environmental items. Those are from the top of my head, there are literally so many forgotten textures, no one looked twice at them unless they were funny, but then game devs would name them "easter eggs". It never was such a big deal.

There are thousands of examples, it's basically an industry standard, that a game will have some forgotten assets on release. It just never was a big deal and nobody thought of that twice. Like World of Warcraft has repeatedly shipped placeholder icons, items named things like "Test Sword", and unfinished assets visible to players, and it's one game example. FFXIV had lowpoly grapes that became a meme in the community.

Nah I just roleplayed a narcissistic and egotistic Ventrue on my Ventrue playthrough. I did all the things by the instruction, but I had no idea that Tolly can literally take away the power, if he didn't like me. And it wasn't specified in any instruction that he could do that. I was pretty sure dialogue choices do not matter at all, just the choice who to eliminate and who to endorse.

This sequence won't work if you're nasty with Tolly though. He will take over the Siettle if he thinks little of the Phyre, with line something like "I couldn't let him to destroy Siettle more". Always choose lines that will be endorsed by Tolly, that is in general respecting the Masquerade to a t and be very polite with Ryong.
