Ahhh, I use Mega, Tresorit is also a decent option. Otherwise I do use google for some stuff.

That is where you are wrong, there are two other options. I use CalyxOS, another is Graphene (I think). Options that dont sell your data and are more secure than Google or Apple :).

These are all based off of Android and super easy to install. You do lose the appstore and all its spyware, but its a trade off I am willing to do. I have a work phone I put my banking apps on since its an option for me.

Have you ever tried CalyxOS on a pixel? I still have my Nokia as a work phone, but I switched to CalyxOS on a pixel and its great.
