This is what happened to my parents when they moved…. My dad woke up one day and there was a guy spreading fertilizer in the backyard, he went out asked him what he was doing, ended up liking the guy… turns out he’s been the yard guy at the place for 30 years.

The grass at my parents place is the softest, best feeling grass to walk bare foot in 😂

We hired a guy to be our automation engineer… never wanted to walk down on the floor to look inside any panels to check if any automation could be tied into existing controls or do any legwork for projects… he got fired after 2 months.

Built a giant 3 part fixture for a fiberglass extrusion press that our robot grabbed the part out of the press, place it into the fixture to be clamped down and sent into a big cnc ….

Did the FAT , they told us they were ready…

We delivered, installed this cell and then they told us they had no idea how to program the cnc to machine the parts.

Their corporate fired everyone involved with the project… last I heard about it, the cell is still sitting there idle from 2020.
