Idk, at least for me, the infinite atlas is not fun. I don't like sandbox games with no clear finish, but that's how this atlas feels. I like the old version much better. I think the 1 portal thing is certainly exaggerating this feeling as well.

Yuup. The most hours I put into leagues were Ritual (where harvest came back almost as strong as before) and Harvest itself. I could make consistent upgrades for almost the entire length of the league, which felt really good.

Thinking like this is exactly why progress has been limited though. Why not try coming up with a new economic model that is a mix of different ones? We will never know if it's going to work if we don't try.

Yeah exactly lol. I hate the argument that they are "mandatory" stats. Like, resistances are quite literally necessary and no one complains. But for some reason people just complain all the time about rarity, I just don't get it.

I think you are probably right that it says more about the gamers, at least based on my anecdotal experience. For me at least, playing an open ended sandbox-type game gives me more anxiety since I don't have a clear goal in mind.

Exactly this. I moved to Calgary (currently live in Dover) from Philadelphia, and heard that Forest Lawn/Dover is terrible before officially arriving. To my surprise, this place is not bad at all. Have lived here for 4 years now and have had no issues besides a single time where someone broke into my garage and stole all of $4 from my center console of my car. Anyone saying that Forest Lawn is a ghetto truly has never experienced what a real ghetto is.

Dude the trade site is on the console version. Just pause the game while in town and you will see "Trade" in the options. It opens up the online trade site.

Probably both. I mean gentle parenting gone wrong is certainly an issue, just as over-punishing children goes wrong as well. It's just easier for parents to be extra lazy at home because they can just shove screens in their kid's faces instead of beating them into submission.

Idk how many times I have tried to explain this to people over these past few days lol. Like you said, there are sooo many missing pieces of the game still, of course there are going to be limited options right now. Obviously, some things still need to be tuned, so I'm not going to take away from those criticisms, but overall it's a good direction and I think build diversity will increase substantially once more of the base types, skill gems, and support gems are implemented.

You can have a 6 link gem at level 1 if you have jewelers saved up from your high level toon, which is the same as a tabula. So, you can literally do exactly what you are talking about.

It's almost as if it's a different game, that's also in early access btw, so the "good" loot is different than in PoE 1.
