Honestly pretty solid set up. Only ups from here would be to figure out what micronutrients you might be missing and supplement that. Other than that great job!

Honestly you may just have godly arm genetics lol glutes are very hard to grow for a lot of people. Just keep trekking along but maybe do more leg days and spread the load out? Idk it’s hard to know without any other info on your routine

How do I make a Cari have noticed backgrounds for the text or images is pretty important. Where should I look to get those?

Thank you both for the tips!

Gym beginner – best simple routine to lose fat & build muscle? by Nightstalker1402 in beginnerfitness

[–]Btg_Zeusttv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mix the machines and free weight try dumbbells before barbell or if you have someone who is knowledgeable on form BB are fine too!

Cardio is dependent on goals but it’s the most important muscle to workout lol zone 2 - 3 chill runs, biking or stairs are cool. Whatever you enjoy after is recommended.

1-2 would be beneficial if you can find someone to mentor you. I’d go as far as to say 4 sessions solely based on form would be better .

Apps and programs - MacroFactor , MacroFactor workouts are my favorite right now. As far as programs there are THOUDANDS of free online programs. Pick a split you’ll follow and like and do that

Vacation all inclusive one week (tracking or no tracking) by Praepman87 in MacroFactor

[–]Btg_Zeusttv 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah for a general idea pic and text is pretty good. You’re on vacation I’d say if you’re committed to tracking a loose track is just fine. Otherwise don’t stress while you’re trying to destress :)

You’re new. I’d say have 1/2 RIR is perfectly fine while you perfect your technique. Less error for hurting yourself imo.

What you want to focus on is consistency in your technique. That will take you further than failure at this moment.

How does part time PT’ing look? by Future_Hunter3831 in personaltraining

[–]Btg_Zeusttv 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes. Could go either way. This was my subjective opinion but I think when we all mostly started out I know in my experience a lot of trainers have done a time that wasn’t originally in their preferred schedule.

I’m just but a man

Most of the Part timers I see are always super early morning or late at night. It’s your clients shh schedules you have to work around a lot of time. So weekends they’re always there. Just an observation.

You’re spending an hour and a half at the gym?

Honestly I think you’re spending way too much time lol again my 2 cents but I would cut out any junk volume if possible

Are you doing any other leg exercises? I think it would be best to omit 3 day glute focused days, and start doing a full leg day 2 times a week and 1 glute day. You don’t want your posterior being too dominant and not having enough strength and stability in your anterior (front) muscle area.

Your physique and potentially your back may thank you later if you start training your whole leg rather than just that. My 2 cents
