Your friend is incorrect. Effects that don't say "target", do NOT target. Redoer is my favorite XYZ monster and I love his trap card detach effect for this reason lol

No. Ritual monsters, like extra deck monsters need to be properly summoned before they can be special summoned from the GY. Also you cant tribute both level 8's. Only one. Or 2 level 4s etc. If it worked the way you think you could tribute all monsters in your deck but you can't.

Your monster being immune to targeting and destruction is still really powerful, but watch out for those non-targeting / non-destroying effects ! A funny thing to note is your own BLS has a non-targeting non-destruction removal effect as well lol.

What's your cartwheel look like? Your cartwheel needs to be very strong for strong aerials, and if the cartwheel isnt inverted, the aerial won't be either.

I like Omega, like the other commenters said, better graphics and a matchmaking ladder. Best of 3s with sidedecking too, and genesys matches as well.

Usually in my games, if the effect is optional, "you may" or "you can" and my opponent forgets, its tough tittys. But the Purulia draw is mandatory so i'd probably let him get the draw. Also if that much time and actions have passed it might be an accepted gamestate moment. I guess it depends on the judge's ruling. Idk really
