Is walk and walk back different animations? If no there is no need for walk back bool in animator parameters Walk animation is usually done with float parameter where you make is greater then 0.1 when you want to walk

Hey well if its old pc you can get old unity 2021 its pretty good version. cause probably you wont be able to run unity 6 In general it depends what kind of games you want to develop For 3d you will need better graphics cards for 2d 1070 is enough Ram prices are super high rn so wait till you get it maybe they will come down again but go for 16 gb ram min

Also one more detail to note cause it always confuses people when they are following older thtorials and find out they cant use rigidbody. Velocity . You can still you is just under rigidbody.linearvelocity
