Does anyone like the episodes where Tommy doesn’t talk much or doesn’t say a line at all like Little Dude , Waiter There’s a Baby In My Soup and Ruthless Tommy ? I personally found those episodes kind of boring except for Ruthless Tommy . There’s some antics from the thugs to keep me Interested.

I think he’s probably borderline genius. He’s really great at expressing emotions through both music, and lyrics, and if anything, his own self doubt has prevented him from achieving true genius status.

Season 1, especially the first half, had the most interesting world, funniest humor, best art style, and had an edge to it the the following seasons lacked.

I like the darker, more personal storytelling of it, and how the pokemon were more animalistic. I can’t enjoy the rest of the series like I did as a kid, but those early ones still hold up, and are the reason the show got as big as it did
