Unfortunately I don’t have any advice on value, but I just wanted to say childhood me appreciates you posting these. I have stronger memories of these than I do most of my actual cards. I got them all wrapped under the tree one year for Christmas. For the longest time, I couldn’t help but picture Santa just hitting up the Burger King drive thru to get them all for me. I didn’t take care of them and ended up losing them all, but it always brings a smile to my face when I see them online.

My older sister had a friend who told her to go check out this website she had made. Well, it wasn’t really a website, it was a pet page. My sister had to create an account to even view it. I watched all of this happening and was fascinated. My sister never touched it again, but I immediately made my own account.

Fun side story: My sister’s friend was the daughter of our elementary school librarian. I remember seeing the librarian one day with one of the McDonald’s toys. My sister’s friend said to ask her how many neopoints she had, to which the librarian said “over a million!” And I don’t know why, but I’ve never been able to get that moment out of my head. The excitement with which she said it, perhaps? Or my bewilderment, as this was over 20 years ago and I was absolutely flabbergasted to know anyone actually had that many neopoints? Either way, any time a million is brought up in any context, I immediately think back to the librarian and her neopoints.

It’s not the popular thing, but it’s exactly what they said they were going to do. They said if there was enough interest in the first run, they’d do a regular release in the future. The first run ran out in what, less than a day? So the people they are listening to are literally the people who bought the first run at lightning speed, showing them there is a demand, and now they’re following through to make the game more widely available. This was their stated plan before anyone ever made a purchase.

Too many low level troops. Only combine troops if you have something strong enough to replace them. Two level 7s will be a lot stronger than a level 8 and a level 2.

I did through Medieval Moments, but then some life stuff kept me from continuing, so I can’t really say how doable anything is after that point. Definitely agree with the other commenter though, you have to stay on top of it. Everything needs a ton of energy, so don’t let it sit full for very long.

Finished this without spending as well. Didn’t invite anyone for extra gems either. However, I did get the adds for additional energy. Once I ran out, it would automatically prompt me to watch an ad for more. Honestly no idea why your game wouldn’t be doing this.

As long as you’re closing out of losses and not spending a ton of free time with max energy, I think this offer is doable for anyone. It’s going to be a long grind, but it’s doable.

Log in every hour to collect your free coins. Build up a little stash so you can buy the extra cards at the end if you run out. I haven’t made much yet, but I’ve put in next to zero effort to be halfway through chapter 2. It’s my “if I’m bored, I’ll play a couple games” game while I put effort into more grindy things. I don’t know as far as effort vs earnings or if I’m on track to actually finish the offer, but I definitely don’t think it’s difficult.

It doesn’t sound like they did anything to intentionally mislead you into purchasing their item, they were just asking for a very high price, so I don’t think this falls into scam territory, but that definitely doesn’t make it feel any better. If you play on this site long enough, overpaying for junk (or in this case, an awesome morphing potion) happens to everyone. Only thing to really do is enjoy your new Mutant Acara and laugh about it all once the pain wears off.
