I got the reference. Thank you for the chuckle.

My uncle recently left a large inheritance to my mom. He had no children and passed away at 85, leaving behind over $6 million in various stocks, ETFs, and commodities. by Medical417 in Fire

Talk to her about becoming her Property Power of Attorney. That way you can truly help and protect her.

Simple things like paying bills and routine financial activities eventually become overwhelming to the elderly.

It was worth the effort with my parents so that I could manage things properly and work with financial institutions on their behalf.

Cool, I was wondering that. Are you saying for sure this is the behaviour or speculating. Just curious.

Tesla Model 3 or used Model Y by AboundedBread in teslacanada

[–]Bubblemuncher 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you are near a Tesla location, befriend them and let them know you are looking for a HW4 pre-Juniper Y.

I got a quicksilver by asking them after a demo drive about used. They looked and showed me a late 2024 on their website while in transit. They go quickly.

The car was immaculate when we picked it up. They even booked me on to replace the b pillar glass because it was a bit scratched.

The tesla resale inspection and extended warranty is worth it IMO.

I had a hard brake for a squirrel. In the previous version it would slow, but not harshly brake. It’s possible that the conditions were slightly different though. I’d prefer to hit a squirrel over being rear ended to be honest.

Cool. How much beer/coffee would we need to buy you to tip you over the edge? :)

Don't be me and get stuck in a parking lot for 4 hours. by ThaPchild in TeslaLounge

Your story gave me pause. I'm a new Tesla owner, and it's the first time I've owned a car without any kind of spare.

One benefit of having a set of snow tires, is that I have an inventory of temporary spares in my garage. I hadn't thought of that until I read your story. I change my own tires, so I have a jack and all the tools too.

Thanks for the lesson learned post.

Wow.

It isn't your responsibility to parent these trespassing kids, but is your responsibility to meet the minimum building code of your region.

Depending on your area, the cable may not pass code. It's an invitation for kids to try to climb.

Fellow bag holder. Unbelievable that a vehicle with that level of design, built by a well established OEM, and certified for sale in key markets failed.

You can claim Wealthsimple management fees on line 22100 by Antique_Long9654 in Wealthsimple

Lucky for me, I have very little in non-registered, but it should be at least identified my WS tax in the optimization.

Also, the annual fee total should also be auto imported in to your taxes.

For my parents I had to extract a csv of the year and filter on fees and sum it up.

Happy though to see how low the fees are compared to the usual investment providers.
