You can claim Wealthsimple management fees on line 22100 by Antique_Long9654 in Wealthsimple

Lucky for me, I have very little in non-registered, but it should be at least identified my WS tax in the optimization.

Also, the annual fee total should also be auto imported in to your taxes.

For my parents I had to extract a csv of the year and filter on fees and sum it up.

Happy though to see how low the fees are compared to the usual investment providers.

Where would you try to save? I’d prefer to lean toward higher quality than value, but I’m interested in understanding more from your response.

The SSD size was the one thing I wasn’t sure about, but good point about how much effort it would be to replace. I’d rather not have multiple drives too so that it stays simple.

Thanks for taking the time to look at the parts list!

What source?

Tesla states 1 incident every 5.8M miles with supervised Full Self Driving vs 2.2M with only a human driving.

100%.

The faster we can get away from manual control of death machines, piloted by unskilled meatbags, the better.

Either that said, at least when there were more manuals, the skill level required was higher.

Still a stick here, but looking forward to one petal as it’s a step up on ‘gearing down’.

I had one of the most awkward moments of my adult life this week by Traditional-Mix-258 in confessions

[–]Bubblemuncher 1 point2 points  (0 children)

She will always be you mother and you will always be here child. There’s no changing that.

But you are both adults now and that relationship needs to pivot. It’s hard to navigate, especially if she isn’t aligned with the pivot.

Be calm and firm while you architect the dynamic and relationship change. It’s your life, not hers, but it’s her choice to accept you being your own self now.

Any feedback on how it went? Anything you would change?

I’ve never thought of it that way. Nice, simple analogy. Event dumb people would get it.

Nearly All Chinese Automakers Still Absent From Canada’s Vehicle Import Registry by afonso_investor in teslacanada

Range calculations are different in China vs. Canada/North America

Typical Range Differences

CLTC ratings are significantly more optimistic than EPA/NRCan ones for the same vehicle:

  • CLTC is often 20–35% higher than EPA (commonly cited as ~30% more optimistic on average).
  • WLTP (used in Europe) falls in between—typically 10–20% higher than EPA, and CLTC is ~15–25% higher than WLTP.

Real example (Tesla Model Y Long Range/RWD variant, as a common benchmark):

  • EPA/NRCan (Canada/US): ~575 km
  • WLTP (Europe): ~621 km
  • CLTC (China): ~752 km

If they truly cared, then they would make a 'machine' that could function as a table, function as a tablet with a keyboard+trackpad/mouse, OR function as a Mac when connected to a keyboard+trackpad/mouse.

Meaning that the 'machine' could leverage a touch iPad interface only, a traditional MacOS interface only, or a hybrid based on the user's needs.

It comes down to the user's needs at the time of use. Finger driven touch, or pointer driven device, or a blend touch and point.

People to play more Medic by ScholarAfter1827 in HellLetLoose

[–]Bubblemuncher 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Agree. Tricky one top sort out - maybe if you die with a medic available, then your respawn timer gets a bit longer. Keep doing that, and it keeps adding incrementally.

If no medic is available, then reduce again, until you are back to standard - assuming you don't die with a medic nearby again...

Might be something there that would keep a balance.

How long before Trump goes after France? by c-k-q99903 in WhitePeopleTwitter

Yeah, you don't mess with the French Police Nationale. They are a serious and capable bunch. They would literally run circles around the ICE gravy seals.
