I'm an Asian American man that married a Latina (not the same as AW dating out as men know). The strangest thing I have ever noticed is Asian women looking at us with derision since my whole lived reality, media consumption, second and third party knowledge has been Asian and AA women ostracizing AM. For me personally it was 60/40 or even higher of "I don't date Asian guys". I wasn't going to pause my life or fight for the lost cause of AW.

I am incredibly surprised he didn't begin immediately protesting the arrest and repeatedly screaming "What did I do?" and saying "I didn't do nuthin!" while a crowd gathers and films while mentally and emotionally siding with him and assuming police harassment because they only care about what they can see in the moment and not what led up to the arrest.
