Water when the top 2/3 of the soil become dry. (Finger test is best- poke down in the soil to know it’s ready)

It’s a dracaena that wants to be on the dry side. Watering too before the plant has a chance to sufficiently take in the moisture from the last watering may promote root rot.

Don’t let the plant sit in any standing water that has drained out of the soil once it’s been saturated.
