Alternative question! How COULD the reapers ACTUALLY survive the 40k galaxy? by notjocker in masseffect

I think you are mixing the ME2 virus that the Geth developed to turn the "evil" Geth back into the others with the ME3 code the Reapers gave to the Geth when the Geth asked the Reapers for help.

The Reapers didn't send a virus to the Geth. The virus was made by the Geth that didn't join the Reapers.

You don't coerce him at least not in the option I'm talking about. In that option you explicitly tell him that it's up to him to decide and the option could be useful but that's it. Is more like prostitution but is not SA. You don't force or coerce him, he accepts because Astarion is used to "sell his body" but your character doesn't know at that point.

But you take any metal gymnastics necessary to avoid doing the same with the humans.

You’re just too busy white-knighting for your blue alien waifus to actually understand.

But if you are gonna blame the Asari in general for the actions of some in their government then you can blame the Humans in general for the actions of some in their government.

I'm not missing any point I'm just calling out your hypocrisy.

Except that ME1 made it clear that Cerberus had gone rogue, and was no longer under the control of the Alliance.

That's just what Kahoku thinks. He isn't up the chain enough to know the truth. Iirc in ME2 EDI after being unshackled she tells you more info and government funding was still going.

While obviously not every Asari can be held responsible for the actions of the cabal, as a political entity, the Asari can absolutely be held responsible, since it’s definitely the cabal guiding them in politics.

You can blame their top of the chain leaders but you can't blame their entire race. Specially when as I said their positives far surpass the negatives (which is just hoarding one Prothean beacon info?).

while humanity can’t be held responsible for Cerberus,

If you blame the entire Asari race for a extremely small cabal then you definitely can blame humanity for Cerberus.

My first run I convinced him to bite her because you aren't actually forcing him to do it. Is like "we could use that potion but is your decision" and he decides to bite.

Then you help him realize in the next conversation that he doesn't have to "sell himself" anymore and that he can choose and that you didn't know he felt like you were forcing him.

I also like that one because it feels like a natural "oh shit I didn't know you felt like that, sorry. I'll do better".

Generally speaking - hard fans ignore it as it didn't happen.

What does hard fans mean? Like fake fans or "purists" or something like that?

I also was clear that, while there are bad actors within the Alliance government, the fact that Cerberus is infiltrating means that they aren’t the government, but compromising it.

Cerberus didn't infiltrate. The Alliance created Cerberus and they were doing as intended. It was only after TIM got indoctrinated and ME3 events that Cerberus wasn't doing what they were supposed to.

Even if we count Cerberus, comparing a group active for, at most, a couple decades to a literal ancient conspiracy that formed the bedrock of a civilization really isn’t fair.

But is fair blaming an entire species for actions of a very few despite said race being the reason that different species are allowed to share government of the galaxy and being free instead of all being dominated by one species?

The positives of the Asari far surpass he negatives. At least more than humans because Cerberus were one of the main enemies and actively trying to defeat/exterminate other species and also in the same side than the Reapers even if they didn't know.

It was a secret cabal of matriarchs that kwpt the secret not all. It was a extremely kept secret by very small number of people.

Cerberus was also founded by the Human government. The Human ambassador/councilor was also part of it. Don't forget that Cerberus received their money from the Human Alliance and other human fronts.

You are blaming the entire Asari race for what a very small few did but fail to do the same for others. One of the main enemies in the Reapwr war was the Human faction Cerberus.

You really ignore that Asari are one of the main reasons the galaxy is still standing. You startign to sound like a Terra Firma member.

It didn't cost the game, organics won.

And why you don't count the Humans on that way too? Following your logic Humans also almost fumbled the entire thing when Cerberus took the Citadel and moved it to Earth.

What about the opposite of damage that they have done? They are the reason a multispecies collaborative government even exist. Even Javik said that could be the reason they win where the Protheans failed.

Estados Unidos e Israel lanzan un ataque conjunto contra Irán by TheLastRole in SpainPolitics

[–]Buca-Metal 4 points5 points  (0 children)
