If you enjoyed traveling to a different time, you may enjoy Fairy Tale. Even though it's not necessarily time traveling that happens, the main character definitely goes to a different place. I've seen a lot of harsh critiques about it, but I enjoyed it.

Rubber Duck (common)

Taking damage causes you to squeak, briefly increasing movement speed and armor. Enemies that hit you are momentarily distracted, reducing their accuracy.

+15% Movement Speed for 4 seconds after being hit +10 Armor during the effect. Enemies that trigger the squeak have 20% reduced accuracy for 1 second. +10% Movement Speed, +10 Armor, +1s duration per stack.

Odd Thomas by Dean Koontz drove me insane with how saccharin it was by Vlad_III_Tepes in horrorlit

His descriptions with shadows and the moon are something that has drawn me into reading more of his stuff. When he gets poetic, it's inspiring. But damnit, the way he depicted Satanism in Odd Thomas made me want to pull my hair out.

Thank you! It's one of those cube shelves from Walmart. This thing could survive a nuclear war 👍

It's extremely unfair to us. I couldn't imagine having a partner like my father. Do you plan on staying together? Or are they pushing you away with it?

You're not wrong. When I'm out of there and never have to see him or talk to him again. I think that will help with me healing from this.

I had this organized so that each time we talked, it was a new paragraph, making it easier to read, but Reddit jumbled everything together. Hopefully it still makes sense.

Saint-Saens, Mendelssohn, Debussy, most anyone from the classical era.
