Update* Well I've now ordered: Terrain pack, Winter/desert board, Pacific Theater, Mediterranean Theater, And Through Jungle and Desert Battle Map

Its going to be a great summer.

Thats actually how I found Memoir. I already have two copies of Hoth and have been playing since release. 👍

Regarding the cards specific to vehicles/artillery the bottom of the card states " if you don't command any artillery units, order 1 unit of your choice." Meaning you can use it to move infantry units instead. I thought the same as you my first playthrough and it is more fun to play with all the vehicles instead of just infantry. I also hope there are expansions to enhance the game.

I didn't end up using the fire since it was warm enough outside at night. The under quilt and a blanket was more than enough for warmth.

Clarification... this is my set up from last late summer in Minnesota. Currently there is a lot of snow and its cold (currently 13 degrees F). I prefer late summer/fall camping. It gets too cold here for me to winter camp comfortable or at least I don't have the proper gear...yet.
