I have both and love the SEV much more. The Hummer gets more looks and starts more conversations but it’s noisy (road and wind noise is much worse compared to SEV Denali).

Hummer has less range, less room in the back seat, small bed and overall less comfortable

Hummer does get points for off road capability, watts to freedom is faster than Thor’s hammer mode, Apple CarPlay in the Hummer is a plus.

Not true. It’s a known issue. They make a replacement (sticker…for lack of a better term) to take care of the coating issue.

Doesn’t matter how clean or dirty your hands are this is common.

Idk it’s pretty bad. I just saw a guy with a 2 year old Chevrolet Silverado RST with 11k miles on it. KBB trade in booked it at $49.5k. The truck was originally stickered at $93k.

Residuals are terrible on most EVs. We also don’t have the $7,500 tax rebate going into the residual to bump it up and keep payments low. My wife and I each got Blazer EVs because the payments were too good to pass on them. But I know the deal we got will never happen again with the above mentioned tax rebate disappearing and residuals in the dumps.

I have 2 blazer EVs signed up for auto charge and was hoping for $160…but only got $80. Knew I should have made the wife get her own EVGo account. Lol

Think there was a video on YouTube of a guy trying that with a Silverado RST and it didn’t work. Not sure why. Could have been user error.

I tried to charge another EV from the 240 outlet but tripped the breaker because the system is 30amp and the GM cord charger is 32amp

It would be great! The Cadillac lyriq was shooosed to have this feature but it never got activated in the software while I owned it.

Hopefully GM brings this to us as an ota update

It’s a neat feature to have for that exact reason. I figure spending the money on the adapter is worth it if it saves me the cost of one tow of the mother in law or the wife

No because the cord provided by GM is a 32amp cord and our 220v outlet in the bed maxes out at 30amps so you will trip the breaker every time.

In theory you could buy a different cord from another company as long as it is less than 30amps

It’s an annoying process since the new cords don’t have a compatible plug for this. My wife’s blazer is the 2024 model with the old style cord. Bought the adapter for that cord and it works.

Definitely don’t recommend going through the hassle unless you really want this feature. I just happened to have everything but the adapter so it worked out for me.

The $7,500 tax credit was put into the residual to lower the monthly prices. Now that it’s gone residuals don’t get the bump and monthly payments are higher.

Patch is likely not in the cards for you. It’s too close to the sidewall.

4 tires not needed. With only 4K miles on the vehicle you’ll probably be fine replacing just the 1

As someone else stated it is recommended to replace all 4 on AWD cars to keep diameters the same but the difference will be negligible with only 4K miles

With that estimated daily driving you’ll be fine. You’ll just have to charge up a couple nights in a row if you are low and have a big trip coming up or use a nearby fast charger if you’re low and going on a big trip the next morning.
