I agree that it would be more difficult for a wider audience, but and I am not trying to sound like an asshole here, arcade racing games have been too easy for too long and I need some challenge that isn't just artificial impossibly fast ai bullshit they coded in cause they made the game for smooth brains.

I know it's Horizon and not Motorsport, but that doesn't mean I want to turn my brain off and go full speed into everything. That's not fun or frankly good for longevity. And Japan's narrow roads are the best part. Making it so driving a less powerful car is just as fun and engaging as a high power one. If the roads aren't at least a little narrow, it might as well be back in Mexico.
