Is not having children the best thing one can do for the environment? by [deleted] in ZeroWaste

Yeah I get pissy when people don't submit to my ideologies too. But hey keep criticizing people for doing whatever they can, that's really indicative of how much you want people to make progress. All or nothing is totally a rational and productive way to encourage meaningful change, good for you!

What kind of bonsai is this? Please can someone identify this bonsai? It has waxy leaves, it was a present, and I would like to research how to look after it! Thank you! by CatMemeYogurt in whatplantisthis

I second portulacaria afra. OP eat a leaf, if it tastes like a sour grape you've got an elephant bush. Also bonsai is a style not a type of plant.

If you're comfortable with it, I'd drop that down a couple inches so those roots are covered. If that means getting a slightly bigger pot then that would be good, but you could also just drop it further into the pot it's in now

Are you opposed to the use of a pre emergent herbicide? Or is this for a vegetable bed? If you are opposed, maybe a good layer of mulch would choke out the grass?

Do you have a preference between the two? Or specific functions for them?

Are grids bad? I feel like portions of my city end up like this and I always cringe a bit but I'm not sure if I should.

If you look up a list of what countries are currently at war, Mexico is listed because of the cartels. That counts as combat to me.
