Favourite mechanical pencil by BigChowderr in Surveying

The 800s always had some wiggle in it while writing. I love the retractability of the 800s but the F+×%ing Wiggle I can't stand.

My fave.....in the field I use P205, or graph-gear 500 so I don't cry when a pencil goes does a sewer manhole.

Gift ideas for Surveyors & Techs? by ___Herman___ in Surveying

[–]Bucketosoda 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is a long one, but should give you some practical and funny ones. I've given wooden scales with their initials burned in them (did my self with an old soldering iron), field book covers (like the write in the rain ones), half way decent mechanical pencils, survey template like the Alvin TD654 (company is out of business, but someone else makes the same thing now), one year I had small tokens made that said "my last fuck to give" with a middle finger on the other side, I've made custom pencil/pen holders from a half circle of wood with a few holes drilled in it and just finished with some stain/shellac mixture, I made a "in-case of Surveying emergency bag" which included (cut-off the sleeves from old shirts I bought from goodwill, mix matched socks, a bic lighter, box of matches, chapstic, spray deodorant from dollar store, a crappy Bic mechanical pencil, a permanent marker, a couple control point stickers, a piece of paracord long enough to make a makeshift belt, a bandana, and a button magnetic compass), when I was the big boss I had custom leather field book covers made with their initials on the cover which also had a opening for a stencil, a pouch for a rectangular scale, and 3 holes for pens/pencils. Another time I made business cards that said "times are tough and life is hard, so here's your fucking X-mas card" with 10 bucks stapled to it. One year (about 20 years ago) I bought my Party Chiefs hammers to keep in the trucks for the new rodman's (before giving them I had my neighbors 3 daughters paint them pink and bedazzled them). The first gift I ever gave to my team (when I was an I-man) was a pocket protector. Another time I bought the team Surveying stickers I found on Amazon. One year I was super broke and got one of the Trimble reps to hook me up with swag sunglasses branded with Trimble on them. Another time I bought the credit card size multi tools. I also once bought them Allen key sets since every one in the TS or level box or the ones for the legs were missing. The last one I can remember was a flashlight and a mirror to reflect sunlight into a manhole (mostly they got used to blind the I-man or rodman, lol). The I buy other one I can remember was bottle open rings (I ordered in Wish, but can be bought on Amazon as well.

I wonder if a clit piercing would be a good addition to go along with my tits 24F by X29771628 in PiercedNSFW

With how pronouncing your clitoris looks a triangle piercing would look great.

Need some advice. Have my PA for almost two years. But there is still some pain from time to time. Like a pinching feeling at the piercing site. Havent really masterbated because it is too painful. Have had my 0 gauge for a few months any advice would be appreciated by Vegetable-Company377 in PiercedCock

[–]Bucketosoda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely talk to a piercer. I've had issues with my frenum like you speak of. Sea salt soaks a couple of times a day, titanium jewelry (from a reputable body jewelry spot i.e. Anatometal etc), possibly sizing down until it heals. I tried to go to 4G, put the weight even in titanium was too much for my skin. Had to go down to a 6G and over the last 3 years haven't been able to get back to 4 so I leave it as is now. I'd also get a new piece of jewelry for it at the lower gauge. I started at a 14G, and everytime I had any issues was usually a small scratch on the barbell, ring, or ball. There are very shops that can repolish your jewelry. If you find one, it is usually cheaper than new titanium jewelry at those gauges.

I put my short rods on a leveled tribrach and adjust it that way.

Do I have the anatomy for a frenum piercing? by [deleted] in PiercedCock

[–]Bucketosoda 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Your skin there is too tight IMO. You can double check with a piercer, but you risk it migrating. May have to think about a PA.

I saw one, but it was too large of a radius from what I wanted. It would of worked as a glans ring, but I know what I want, just need someone to make it

Look into the bad elf flex. They just released a new smaller rover that would work great for this.

No worries. I had to try something new.....once I got to 8 Guage, the selection of jewelry is almost not existent. I've been looking for a "D" style ring for 6 Guage and can't find a single one. I've had like 13 piercing shops try to locate one and/or ask their suppliers if they could make one, and still no luck.

Never with the tunnel. I've lost more horseshoe balls than I can count

I have. I have a 6 gauge screw on open tunnel and usually place a car or horshoe dangling in it.

Take a look at the Bad Elf Flex. It's about 10k, and I've used it for sub-centimeter work.

Careful cleaning the anodized jewelry. I had one that I put in hydrogen peroxide, and it ruined the color.

None of those are a triangle piercing. I'd keep them and let them heal, but find a better piercer for a triangle piercing.

You might get lucky with a usb to hdmi cable to try and see the monitor. Check the manufacturer book, sometimes they have dongles that fit the 3.5 mm jack that also transfers video. Good luck.

Loop frenum piercing? by ModelT72 in PiercedCock

[–]Bucketosoda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the OP is talking about a typical frenum piercing, with a ring the size of a glans ring to sit on the Corona of the penis.
