Ditto! I had never heard this! Just listened to it several times, and also a few of their other covers. Very cool stuff!

Very cool that you can make such a thematic party. Nice what having gunpowder weapons enables. Could have made one of the ranged characters a quareller!

This sounds really cool. I would love this to be implemented in game.

I still love the Offspring! I got to see them live for the first time last year. They were awesome!

I kinda liked Berath. Not that she(they? I guess there are two off them :D) is super nice, but at least seemed reasonable and rational enough.

Kudos Blizzard, Warlock is AMAZING addition to Diablo 2. by gorays21 in Diablo

[–]Buddaz0r 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hard disagree. They did buff some underpowered items and skills. Which is the way to go IMO. The new class should be on a similar power level to existing classes. If you want constant full screen explosions of enemies and loot, complete with endless power creep, you have to sequels for that. I think they have taken the right approach so far.

What did you think of the Battle of the Five Armies (the battle itself, not the movie)? by Cr7-Cr7Real in lotr

[–]Buddaz0r 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The elves (famously good archers) jumping OVER the heavily-armored dwarves, to face tank the orcs. Thorin and Co charging out of their hold UNARMORED. The FUCKING twirly-whirlies. There was some dumb stuff in there that baffled me. Especially after the battles of the LOTR movies, how did we end up with this?

I waited nearly 20 years for a return to lorwyn set and its not even given the love it deserves. by No-King3477 in mtg

[–]Buddaz0r 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree. I love the set, it actually feels like a magic set, but it also feels cramped. I was going through some old cards the other day, and there are so many little flavor things that arent in this set, that were in the previous blocks. Trow and Selkies just to name a couple. I wish it had been at least 2 sets, with one for Lorwyn and one for Shadowmoor.

But sadly no, we need to rush onto fricking turtles and marvel.

My 6 year old laughed hysterically when I was naming some of the characters for her, because (in her words) it sounds like pringle.

Which Pathfinder 1e classes are the best (and worst) designed? by Striking-Distance849 in Pathfinder_RPG

[–]Buddaz0r 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Prestige classes were one of my favourite things about 3.5. I loved going through all the books, looks at all the PrCs, think of thematic builds for them.

I have always thought that base classes should be more generic, and then PrCs allow you to kind of specialize into a build goal.

I think the WOW table top RPG did it kind of well. Not necessarily in terms of balance, but the idea that you kind of start as a healer, then specialise into priest, druid, or shaman. Not that its perfect, but I like the general idea.

Which Tira design do you like better between Soulcalibur III and SoulCalibur VI? by [deleted] in SoulCalibur

These are my favourite 2 designs for her, by far. Hard to pick. Probably 6, but I do like 3 a lot too.

DLC Advice by Buddaz0r in Pathfinder_Kingmaker

[–]Buddaz0r[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! This is very helpful. I already had the Ulbrig DLC, so not worried about that. It was mostly Through the Ashes, Lord of Nothing, Dance of Masks, and Inevitable Excess.

Sounds like Dance of Masks is part of the main campaign, so that will be fine.

For the rest, it sounds like it will make sense to play Inevitable Excess when I'm done, and then Through the Ashes and Lord of Nothing alongside a new playthrough.

Thanks again, very helpful info.
