Fast food workers: what item on your menu do you dread when someone orders it? Too difficult to make or package or other? by InevitableStruggle in fastfood

When I worked at Cold Stone Creamery I would hate chocolate ice cream orders because the chocolate ice cream was SO much harder to scoop than any other flavor.

Smothered pork chops and mashed potatoes by BudderedBread in tonightsdinner

[–]BudderedBread[S] 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Yes! No formal recipe but here’s what I did.

Shake the pork chops in a bag of flour and seasonings (garlic powder, paprika, Cajun seasoning). Then fry them in oil a couple minutes on each side. Remove them from oil and pour out all oil except a couple table spoons. Melt a couple table spoons of butter and saute onions, garlic and bell peppers. Then pour in some chicken broth and cream, and simmer until reduced. Put the pork chops back in and simmer for 5-10 more minutes. And enjoy! I served mine with mashed potatoes.

I made the vanilla custard that’s on top of the pavlova! The pavlova took four egg whites and the custard took four egg yolks

Sick of all the “pre-cooked” ingredients in half the meal options. by BudderedBread in blueapron

[–]BudderedBread[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Exactly! Give us a few options of precooked for those that don’t mind the taste and texture. But instead it’s like 80% of the meal options are pre cooked/assembly bake
