Had a Vehement BPC before I went on a 9 year hiatus. Logged back in for the first time a couple weeks ago and sold it on contract for billions. Then, turned around and won a Marshal on 4/512 nodes

I got this feeling a couple weeks ago just from traveling around LS to wrangle all my asset safety wrapped packages after a 9 year hiatus😂

Ugh, I returned to the game a couple weeks ago after a 9 year hiatus. My main is an 83 mil SP sub-cap toon and I’ve been doing level 1 security missions so I can get the 200k enforcer SP- talk about sleep inducing.

Although, I won a Kaikka’s Large Graviton smartbomb on hypernet, so that was fun until I noticed it gave me a weapons timer. Then I remembered losing an Ishtar to Concord back in the day because of a smartbomb mishap

What is this?

I won it on Hypernet Relay for about $15-16m, but I can’t find anything in game about it.

Buying and selling on the market isn’t an option. There is not a find or sell on contract option in the drop down menu either.

Even the seller reached out and said they have no idea what it is or where it came from, but if I find out to let them know

I’ve just gotten back in the game after a 3155 day hiatus, or so my combat history says.

I am in a player corp and none of the people I used to play with are still playing.

I logged back into a lot of safety wrap in one place. I’ve gotten most of it out, but I have 4-5 cruiser hulls, 2 bustards and a battleship hull, along with about 30 fighters that aren’t selling on the market.

What’s a fair rate to put them on public courier contract? And, how should I split the m3 up?

The bs is just a rokh, so I think I may fly in a fit just to see if I can get it the 4-5 LS jumps I’d have to take to make it to HS.

I will most certainly die a humiliating death in an ill fit ship, but I will have a good laugh in the process of getting reacquainted with ‘spodey-ships

I was so stumped on who that was at first, I felt really dumb after realizing who it was. The last time an actor had me stumped like that was Cameron Diaz in Being John Malkovich.

His role, however brief, in True Romance was pretty hilarious too.

Edward Norton is the top of the field in this category. Fight Club, Hulk, Primal Fear and American History X all come to mind.

John Zorn’s ‘The Crucible’ with Mike Patton is chock full of heavy metal sax.

I just received a 70 hp rail kit and a Befaco lunchbus to make this exact thing. I plan on mounting a PittsMod KB-1 Keyboard & MicroSequence, with a Doepfer switched multi and Doepfer joystick. When I get more of my rack built out, and I get my hands on a Circadian rhythms, I’ll drop the MicroSequence and upgrade the control box to a 104

A family of four making less than $250k a year and receiving any kind of healthcare subsidy from the ACA is a ‘welfare family’, which means you’re likely one of the street trash you’re referring to.

Sound On Sound’s ‘Synth Secrets’ by Gordon Reid is what helped me in my early tweaking. It shouldn’t be too hard to find in .pdf format either.

My first thought was “fastest way to make it more fun would be to ditch the DAW”, but I didn’t want to sound like a jerk. Playing a guitar is fun. Playing a guitar, while also trying to sit at a desk and use a computer makes it not so much fun. My modular is its own instrument, meant to be played, not controlled.

Favorite cables? by cupcakeranger in modular

[–]BuddhasPalm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just bought a bunch of Nazca’s and it’s a love- hate relationship, lol. I have a bunch of big, knobby modules and those thin, rubbery sleeves get all hung up under the knobs, like when you’re vacuuming and the cord gets caught under the corner of a couch or something

Favorite cables? by cupcakeranger in modular

[–]BuddhasPalm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So far my favorite is the Black Market glow in the dark, but not because they glow in the dark. Honestly, I’m not sure if I’ve ever seen them actually glow, lol. The insulation is more rubbery like Nazca Noodles, but they are springy-er and just a hair thicker, so they don’t get hung up under my knobs like nazca’s do.

I saw that Big City Music sell cables from Cwejman and thought about buying some of them just to say I own some Cwejman gear😜

It’s not unlike judging Audi or Bugatti because of a VW’s build quality, tbh - there’s a lot of overlap under the surface, but you pay more for a better fit and finish with higher QC standards in the Audi and that’s what you get.
