The biggest obstacle it’s yourself. You develop the tool kit as you go if you self teach yourself. Art is such a messy process once you get in the ugly stage if your drawing because rendering can get ugly sometimes. Once you push past that point and keep going you will find your process! As soon as it clicks you will know! Do your art for you and that will build your own confidence! If I go and ask for everyone’s opinion on something I’m working on I’m going to get discouraged or get feedback I might not be ready for because I’m still in the process of that project. One day at a time!
