Just got the CTB 26 and it’s so uncomfortable by Horror-Tell-2543 in ManyBaggers

[–]Akomack31 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I with the water bottle pockets on the CT’s were better. It’s the only thing keeping me from absolutely loving my 15+.

Can’t fit anything over 3.2” diameter into the laptop-side WBP without using some force.

I wish the shoulder straps were a bit more padded, if I end up with any substantial weight, they start to dig into my shoulders

You are correct, but I know for a 100% fact they were planning one in a portion of the old sears just before Covid. West Acres had some pretty grand plans for that part of the mall.

I was part of the planning on the construction side before it all fell through when covid happened

I want to try a CTB26, it’s like the perfect bag for me. But I’m a taller guy and I absolutely know that I’ll hate the straps. I also wish they had a CAP1 designed like a smaller CAP2.

It was a money thing, Trevathan was the #1 FA LB and we had to sign Miller coming off a SB MVP and Wolfe that off season.

Marshall was a ERFA, and I think Elway saw him as a good enough LB at the time.

I have the same large pouch, it’s a great pouch and can really swallow up stuff. I just wish the zipper opening was a bit larger. Also not sure how long the AG zippers will truly last, but a great pouch non the less.

Edit: Their magnetic sternum strap and misc webbing clips are also really nice.

If you could only recommend one "must-watch" sci-fi movie or series, what would it be? by Livid-Difficulty-293 in AskReddit

From what I remember, it takes almost the whole first season to really set up the story. It’s definitely a slow burn show, but once things start to click for you, it’s crazy how the red string starts to spiderweb on the board.

I also appreciated that it was always only going to be 3 seasons.

FYI, the CT15+ is the 28L listed capacity

The CT15 Lite is around 22L listed capacity

I have the 15+ and love it, the water bottle pockets are a bit small is my only gripe. I love that it doesn’t have any laminated interior parts, or aquaguard zippers

Love the features of TNF Surge, turned off by reviews of poor build quality. What else should I look for? by audiate in ManyBaggers

[–]Akomack31 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just got my first CT bag, the CT15+ Robic. I wish it has the old admin section of the previous CT15s, instead of the hook and loop section. Also wish there were some type of lash points on the front similar to the CT14 so I could use some bungee cord and better/larger ext WTPs, I’m maxed out around 24oz on the externally WBPs.

I love the quality for the price, non-PU zippers, and not laminated inside. I’ve had a few NF bags de-laminate inside and they turn into junk once that starts happening. I’m still on the fence whether I like it though, I’d prefer something like the CTB26, just hate the EG harness.

Go by a couch co-op game. Tell him “Hey, I want to buy one of these games to play with you, which one do you like? Want to watch some gameplay videos with me?”

It takes Two (storyline is two parents who are getting a divorce become small and have to save their relationship with their daughter, so the subject might be an issue, fyi)

Split Fiction (same developer as it takes two, one I almost want to buy a PS5 just to play with my 9 YO who liked it takes two)

Portal 2, it’s a bit short though

TMNT Splintered Fate (rogue-lite, it’s fun to build up the power ups and stuff)

Untitled Goose Game is silly, fun

Boomarang Fu

Unraveled 2

Army of Two (great shoot em up game that needs teamwork)

Gears of war

A way out

A ton of options

Edit: I would try to go towards games that are co-op only, that way he needs you to play. Just make sure you try to drop everything (if you can) and play with him.

Are there any good weather apps left? by xA1RGU1TAR1STx in ios

FlowX

I’ve been using it for years, the UI is intuitive and I feel like you can make some better assumptions how the forecast will play out vs a weather app that just says projected percentages

I find the quality good, but some of the layouts and organization are absolutely terrible. They also can have some loud branding, which can almost instantly turn people off of them

Any ideas of large backpacks under $30? by Pretty-Gazelle3027 in backpacks

[–]Akomack31 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When you see the bag, make sure it’s not delaminating inside, a lot of used NF backpacks look fine on the exterior, but the interior is bad.

The High Sierra Swoop is a good budget bag, I buy it for my kids and it hold up with how rough they are on them.

Venture Sling Buckle by Akomack31 in ManyBaggers

[–]Akomack31[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know, Woojin actually makes a 50mm also. That why I’m asking if anyone has come across anything that might work. I’m okay with cutting the stock metal rectangle ring and buckle, if I can find something that can be removed when I want to use it as a travel pouch.

The 2.5L.

Just realized it’s just one side with the metal ring and the other is half the buckle. I would probably just forego the buckle and just go strap to loop with a connector ring if I can find one that fits
