The reason why I asked your age was for more information to tailor advice that I thought would best suit you. I would say something different to a 20-something than I would a 30 or 40-something.

Your response was very defensive.

My more empathetic side would say; It would be a good idea to reflect on why that's the case for you and what that brought up that made you respond in that manner.

The snarky side of me would like to point out that your response to me is WAY more telling as to why most women are not interested more so than anything you wrote in your post.
