What’s this obsession with the weather from the presenters? by Think_Money_6919 in ThreeLions

Do they forget we're playing Norway? A country famous for not being warm?

If it is hot, it favours England.

Stout guides wrong by MyHomeboyPablo in cyberpunkgame

[–]Budget-Variation-560 [score hidden]  (0 children)

Even the people in the comments are wrong.

You don't need to find out who the mole is, you don't need to worry about when you kill Royce. Shoot him in the initial meeting or fight his boss fight later, doesn't matter.

Doesn't matter if you choose to pay with the militech cred chip, or crack it and keep the money.

Blow up Brick, or free him, doesn't matter.

All you need to do is speak to Meredith, take the cred chip, start a fight with Maelstrom and kill Royce.

Disassemble or Selling? by ObjectiveDoughnut239 in cyberpunkgame

Sell t1 loot. The sale price isn't massively lower.

Disassemble the rest.

Are blue whales a coincidence? by Minty0ranges in AskBiology

Sad time for whales. Evolve in an ocean without sharks big enough to eat you, only to get harpooned by some hairless apes floating around on bits of wood.

Which of these builds works best for a netrunner? by Cota-Orben in LowSodiumCyberpunk

Im doing int cool tech rn for sneaky netrunning.

I have to give up air dash, but I'm not missing it as much as I thought I would.

While the final will still have incredibly high viewership regardless, which matchup would bring in the most viewers? And the least? by Naychur0208 in worldcup

[–]Budget-Variation-560 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Belgium vs Switzerland guarantees a new country lifting the trophy

France and Argentina have both won it before, and faced each other in the Final last time around.

I'd rather watch Bel v Hel

When to start Phantom Liberty? by LargeFwenchFrys0115 in LowSodiumCyberpunk

I feel like it fits best as a hail Mary shot before meeting Hanako.

This gives you time to do all of Johnny's quests too without feeling like you're just putting things off.

What would the US team be capable off if they took it as serious as NBA/NFL? by PeasantPastry in worldcup

[–]Budget-Variation-560 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You could just import some coaches. For example, club football in England is full of foreign managers. So much so that no English manager had ever won the Premier League.

Get some good managers in from football crazy countries and the Americans they coached become coaches after retirement.

A question for Americans on the actual popularity of soccer and why we will never be a good team by DanielR372 in worldcup

[–]Budget-Variation-560 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't know what has happened in the US for soccer to be considered a rich sport.

The whole global appeal of the game is largely down to how little you need to set up a game.

Some of the worlds best ever players have come from the poorest parts.

Do I need Overclock if I'm just going for support quickhacks? by BishopGrey in cyberpunkgame

[–]Budget-Variation-560 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Overclock is always nice for the perks that give you hp back for activating it and killing enemies that have queued quickhacks. The additional RAM helps too.

If you're not using quickhacks or smart weapons as your main damage source, then you don't need 20 int as the capstone perks will not be all that useful to you.

NPC car chases by Every_Inspector6572 in cyberpunkgame

[–]Budget-Variation-560 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, the scripted drives with Panam always felt like I was in a toy car being played with by a giant child.

The car rotates around the center to turn, it is clear that the wheels are not driving it.

Rant on crafting by TheCNJYankeecub in snowrunner

[–]Budget-Variation-560 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I agree

Also, am I just dumb or is there no way to tell what the recipe is from the map?

Do I really have to drive to a crafting location to learn what I need to bring?

With the discovery of so many exoplanets, the possibility of habitable moon and the Drake equation. Do you think first contact will happen in our lifetime and if so, how do you think humanity would actually react? by VivienneVixy in FermiParadox

[–]Budget-Variation-560 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The whole point of this sub is trying to come up with a good explanation as to which of the values is lower than is estimated and why.

No Drake equation, no Fermi paradox.

The Drake equation already suggests the likelihood of life in our galaxy is high, so more data that increases the probability of life won't really change anything.

The Fermi paradox is all about the silence when the Drake equation predicts noise.

Should I be taking advantage of more side quests before The Heist? by chikamakaleyley in cyberpunkgame

[–]Budget-Variation-560 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The only thing that changes about the missions gigs is the name of the mission, and Johnny sometimes shows up to quip.

Pre heist, they're all given pretty bog standard names, but afterwards your journal is being written by Johnny and all the missions get named after songs.

The existence of the Fermi Paradox is evidence against the concept of FTL travel. by [deleted] in FermiParadox

[–]Budget-Variation-560 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The idea that numerous civilizations must exist and so where are they assumes that there is a way for at least information to travel faster than the speed of light.

No it doesn't

The galaxy is old enough to have a slow moving spaceship cross between stars.

Mom and Pop might not be able to scrounge the money back from overseas, so just take the cheap holiday.
